Hey Pojo. I played in a tourney this past week at Artifex in Carmel Mountain
Ranch, CA. There was about 32 people there and it was a 5 dollar entry and a
20 dollar prize along with a holo first edition venusaur. I was excited to
win unfortunately i didnt. I got third with my new deck and
i'd have to say that it had to be one of the most feared decks present at
the tourney. Here it is, the Alachanscyther deck.

1st game against Tom Ingoldsby playing a standard haymaker. my first draw
includes a scyther,2 DCE, 2 psy, a Kadabra, and Bill. My Bill pulls an
Alakazam and a grass enegy. I lay the plant on my active scyther and sword
dance. He whimpers as his farfetch'd misses with leek slap and i slash his
farfetchd for the win.

2nd game against chris whitton. he plays a wierd sombo of electric and
plant. It looks pretty good on paper but his Zapdos' fall like crazy to my
pinsirs. he uses a Raichu and pulls off a few agilities in a row but i
quickly recover by using a double colorless on my pinsir and making the 6th
prize kill.

3rd game against a guy (forgot name) playing mono fire. His deck is all
about charizard and gusts. he gets the win as you can imagine because of his
killing all my alakazams and scythers.

4th game was for 3rd place. I played against a kid with a form of the
raindance deck. He played poliwrath on the 4th turn and kept using whirlpool
to detain me. and it half worked. I busted out a pinsir with two plants on
it and layed DCE. boom. He then brought out a magicarp with 1 energy on it
and evolved into gyarados. hehe. smart kid.

record: 3-1

one more game was for the 2nd place honors, they had decided to do it up all
wierd and i got the chance to go for 2nd place. It was the charizard guy
again so I got roasted in a 4 prize game. go figure eh?

I still got a prize of 5 bux and a booster but I wanted that venusaur. Oh
well, next time ill win.
