Hi, my name is Homer(iha1979@mmcable.com). I made a pretty good haymaker and
tested it against
some other good decks. I went to a tournament and traded/bought all of the
cards I needed before the tournament started. By the way, this tournament
was held at Edmond Baseball Cards in Edmond OK,
and this deck won 1st place out of 28 people on August 22nd. (Sorry for
sending this deck to you 3 times, but each time I reviewed it and found I
missed something in your deck requirements.)

Energy:
Fighting x 11
Electric x 9
Double Colorless x 4

Pokemon:

Fighting(4 in all)-
Hitmonchan x 4 (What can I say?? He's[or is it she??] the ultimate fighting
pokemon!)

Electric(5 in all)-
Electabuzz x 4 (Up to 40 Damage in 2 turns)
Zapdos x 1 (Good against people with those hard to beat, high-hit point
Pokemon)

Grass(4 in all)-
Scyther x 4 (Good against those Hitmonchan, and takes 3 Colorless energy to
attack)

Colorless(5 in all)-
Kangaskan x 2  (Comet Punch is good, but don't use Fetch to much unless your
goal is to deck)
Chansey x 1 (My favorite Kamakazi Pokemon!)
Clefairy x 1 (To evolve to Clefable)
Clefable x 1 (Metronome of 1 Colorless, Good against Charizard)

Trainers-
Bill x 3 (Better than Prof. Oak, which I decked once because of use)
Computer Search x 1 (Good if looking for a Hitmonchan or Scyther, even a
DCE)
Defender x 1 (I personally use if I don't have any energy)
Energy Removal x 4 (It's better than Super Energy Removal if you get 2 in
your hand)
Energy Retrieval x 2 (For those people who like to use Super Energy Removal
or Energy Removal)
Full Heal x 1 (Good against those Grass and Lickitung Decks)
Gust of Wind x 1 (Good if opponent has a weakness against one of your own)
Potion x 1 (What can I say?? It's a potion.)
Super Potion x 3 (See above, but add a "super")
Switch x 1 (Just in case)
Pokeball x 1 (Like Computer Search)

Purpose of the deck-
I built this deck to get pokemon out really quickly for low energy costs. As
you can see, this deck uses alot of trainers (like 18 all together). I like
to use the Energy Removal to take away, but as you can see I use the Energy
Retrieval for those people who like to use Super Energy Removal. This deck
can get out pokemon like Hitmonchan and Electabuzz out fast, it's pretty
good against all types since I use 4 different. Scyther is in there because
it uses 3 Colorless energy for slash, and I find the point of Swords Dance
to be useless, because if you attack one turn for 30 and attack the next
turn for 30, it makes 60 anyways. You would just be wasting a turn. Anyways,
the Kangaskans and Chansey (my favorite Kamakazie Pokemon) are in there for
the annoying Psychic, and I have Clefairy and Clefable in there for people
who evolve to quickly and don't get any energy on there (like the kids who
just got a Charizard and just put it in there) so they will be taken out
early on in the game. Now for the tournament results...

This tourney was Swiss style, and each person you play best two out of three
games.

Round one- Me vs. some kid with a Rainbow Deck
This round was easy, I sent out a Hitmonchan and he sent out a Snorlax.
He tryed to use Bodyslam on his first turn. Anyways, I killed him in 3 turns
due to the lack of Basic on the bench. The next game he had more basic, but
only had pokemon like Abra and Magikarp. Easy win.

Round 2- Me vs. Daniel someone with a Mono Grass Deck
He sent out Clefairy first game while I sent out Scyther with a DCE. He
put me to sleep but we flipped again and it was heads. I put an energy and a
plus power which I so conveiniently drew in my first hand and killed
Clefairy. He sent out his Hitmonchan, which I defeated in 4 turns because of
my Resistence. The next game he had a Clefairy on his bench and I sent out a
Hitmonchan, I used Gust of Wind to bring out Clefairy and kill it, then
killed his Hitmonchan with 2 Special Punches. He wanted to slap me because I
beat him at a smaller tournament the day before.

Round 3- Me vs. a kid with a Mewtwo Barrier deck
This kid was really hopeful but didn't really get far. He had 1 of his
Mewtwo's and a Psychic Energy. I sent out Kangaskan with a DCE and the get
drew. He must have gotten a trainer or something, so I used Computer Search
to get a DCE and use Comet Punch. I flipped. 1 heads... 2 heads... 1
tails... 1 heads. I beat him in maybe 3 decks.

Finals Round 1- Me vs. Cale H. with a Fire deck
This kid had knocked me out in the tournament the day before because I
decked. This time, I started with a Hitmonchan while he sent out Growlithe.
I attached and attacked him. He attached and the process repeated 2 times
until I put my 3rd energy and beat Growlithe. He sent out a Charmeleon which
I defeated in 2 turns. I am so thankful that the Top 8 rounds were only 1
game a piece instead of best 2 out of 3.

Finals Round 2- Me vs. some kid who was also undefeated
This kid had a Rainbow Deck. I beat him  easily because he sent out
Porygon as his only Basic which I beated with Hitmonchan in my first turn.

Final Round for 1st place- Me(the winner of the winners bracket) vs. Cale
H.(the winner of the
loser bracket)
Oooh, this round was fun. It went on a little more, I would have one
either way, because He had one card left in his deck, only 1 basic, and I
had one prize. I killed his Arcanine with Electabuzz and won the tournament.

Anyways, I won 15.00 store credit and hosted the tournament the next week
which was pretty fun. I'll be sure to send you another deck as soon as I can
find the right combo.
