I played in a tournament at Books a Million last Saturday in Beaumont TX.
There was supposed to be league but a tournament instead. Here are the
results. There were about 20 there. 1 game and your gone format.
Round 1 vs a Rain Dance
I pulled out Scyther Bulbasaur Pinsir 2 double colorless 2 grass energy
He had a squirtle up Me first, I attach a grass swords dance he
attaches a
water bubble no paralysis I attach d.c. and win He had no basics
Round 2 vs a Quick Fire
I pulled Kangaskhan and 5 Grass and 1 Energy Removal
He got Charmander Magmar and a Growlithe up
I go first get a d.c. attach and fetch he had no energy my turn
Get another double colorless Comet Punch land all four and knock out
charmander
Get a scyther from prize, he puts up Magmar with no energy. I go Comet
Punch
for 60 and knock out Magmar. He brings in Growlithe with and evolves to
Arcanine with no energy. Comet Punch for 40 he goes attaches Energy my
turn
Comet Punch for 40 he goes attaches energy I miss completely with comet punch
he flamethrowers for 50. I comet punch for 20 and win due to no basics.

Round 4 vs a sorry deck with practically no energy
He pulls a poliwag and squirtle and I get Oddish and Pinsir. His turn

gun for 10 My go stun spore for 20 and paralyasis he passes stun spore for 20
beat poliwag Brings in Squirtle I evolve into gloom and poison powder his
squirtle bubble with paralysis he puts Chansey on the bench his squirtle dies
soon afterward He brings in chansey i evolve to vileplume heal and petal
dance for 120. He brings in another poliwag has no energy i petal dance

turn attach an energy I slash for 30 His turn attach energy seismic toss for
30 down to 20 retreat bring in fully charged pinsir guillotine he has no more
pokes I win
I got 4 Jungle and 2 Regular Boosters
the purpose of this deck is to get scyther and pinsir going as well as
Kangaskhan to start fetching cards.
