Hello PoJo

This is my new deck "Haymaker Elite" I posted Massacre way back when but I'm sure we've all forgotten about that, ;o) Anyway, the tourny was held in Chester, VA at The Time Capsule on 9-11-99. It was double elimination. Here's my deck:

Sorry, I forgot the name of this dude. I never remember people I play really early on. Anyway, he had a really bad grass deck using a bunch of Paras and Oddish, but I didn't see ONE evolution. I put out Scyther and went through four prizes before he finally poisoned it. Hitmonchan came out next and Special Punched the rest of the game. Outcome: WIN - Record: 1-0

He was playing a Raindance. We went through pretty even until I had out a lone Hitmonchan. He kept paralyzing me and I had 20 HP left. BUT, when he Computer Searched for his PlusPower, it was in his PRIZES!!!! That was pure luck.....next turn I added the energy for Special Punch. Outcome: WIN - Record: 2-0

He was playing a Haymaker variant, a pretty good one at that. He had out a Hitmonchan to my Scyther, but before I got a chance to kill it, he Computer Searched for an Electabuzz, then Oaked. I Item Finder for an Oak and get out Hitmonchan and another Scyther. I bring out Hitmonchan, but he keeps paralyzing it. Finally, I get 40 damage on him with Jab (weakness to Fighting) and bring out Scyther for the final 30 damage. Outcome: WIN - Record: 3-0

I THINK his name was Michael. Anyway, he was playing a Haymaker that looked a lot like mine. I didn't have the right draws at all, I kept getting Hitmonchan to his Scyther and Electabuzz to his Hitmonchan, ARGH!!!!!!! Needless to say, it was quick and painless for me. Outcome: LOSS - Record: 3-1

This wasn't THE final round, but MY final round. He was playing another Haymaker (there is about 5 of them here). Once again, I just couldn't get the right cards. I lasted for a little bit before he Oaked, PlusPowered and kept using Item Finder for PlusPowers. He almost ran out of basics but Computer Searched for a fresh Scyther to my Hitmonchan, Sword Danced and Slashed me for his final prize. Outcome: LOSS - Record: 3-2

I finished 3rd and got a Jungle Booster. Holo Mr.Mime came out of that. I might make a Potpourri deck since I have 3 Mr.Mime now. There's always next week, maybe then I will get GOOD draws against other Haymakers. My email is cubone59@hotmail.com and my name is Ryan.
