I attended a tounament at Heros Unlimeted Inc in Roselle IL.
This was on sep 18 about 36 participants

heres my report I usually do really good at this tourney, today I sucked.

Round 1
vs my friend Tim P playing sunshine(raindance)

I start scyther with monchan and buzz in hand, he starts squirtle. He goes
first no paralasis. I play buzz thundershock no para. He plays down hitmo
breeders blastoise and deals 40. I flip heads on thunderpunch blastiose gone.
He kills buzz with monchan and plays down another monchan. I kill 3 chans
with scyther he runs out the basics I win.
Tim is not mad, though he is out the tournament he moves on to the losers
tournament and wins the whole thing. He wins 10$ store credit.

round 2 vs Bob(this kid won the tourney here last week) haymaker

I got a dredfull hand , only a buzz he starts scyther plays down a monchan
jabs after computer searching for his 3rd plus power and wins the game in one
turn.

now at this point I would be out of the tourney, single elemination but there
are an uneven amount of people so, My name gets shuffled back in to the
winners tournament!

round 3 vs. kid with fire deck

I won this match no problem not playing down any scythers and winning
easilly. The kid diddnt really know how to play though, he drew cards after
all his basics were gone untill he got another. I let him do this because it
did not matter his deck really sucked.

round 4 vs. Mike W playing speedrill with few electrodes along with
scyther/electabuzz

In the end he only had 2 prizes to claim but it really showed nothing. I had
the game under control for most of the time. He tried to build up his
beedrill a few times but my removals were too much for him and I dont think
his deck had that many removals. I won by prizes, I could have stalled him,
he had a few cards left and used about 1 more oak than me.

semi finals vs. Jon with haymaker

He just plain whooped me the whole game. I had a bad draw plus he had the
right pokemon for any of mine. I bareley got off any shots at him the whole
match and eventually all I could do was try to stall him, this was
unsuccsessful he got all his prizes and moved on to the finals.

My friend justin then preceited to whoop him in the final round.

I whent home with nothing today. I will be back next week, I think I'll try a
alakazzam mime, buzz,chansey stall deck combo.
