I went to a tournement in San Diego CA, I played the tournement at a local
comic shop called "Anime". 

I didnt use someone else's deck in the tourny.  This is what I call a
homemade deck  This deck did pretty well in the tourny, I got 2nd place.

Everytime I have gone to a toruny there was one major deck.  First it was
"Raindance", now it is the infomous deck "Haymaker". Well I created a deck to
counter both of them.

There had been 27 people at this tourny.

Round 1
    I faced a Haymaker deck. My opponent named Philips knew I had a water
deck, so he put in Electabuzz.  Thats were my Hitmonchan came in. I went
first then I simply jabbed him for 40 (because of weakness).  All he could do
was thundershock me, he hit me for 10 hoping he will paralyze me, but it
failed! He brought in his Scyther and passes.  I had a Squritle on my bench,
a Breeder in my hand, and a magikarp with an Oak. Luckly I drew a Pokemon
Trader, so i Traded my magikarp for a Blastoise, Raindance all my water
energys and then I oaked. I retreated my Hitmonchan, and brought in
Blastoise. I hit him for 40, he had no more basics so he lost the game when I
killed his Scyther.

Round 2
    In this round I faced a little kid, he didn't know anything about
pokemon.  He was complaining about me breeding my Squritle to a Blastoise, he
repeatdly said "You need a Wartortle!" I just ignored him. I eventually beat
his abra with a Squritle and I won the game.

Round 3
    I got an by/bie how ever it is spelled.

Round 4
    In this round I faced another Haymaker. This guy had voltorbs and
wigglytuffs though.  He had his Voltorb as starter, all i had was a squrtle.
Atleast I went first. I bubbled him and paralyzed him he put down a
hitmonchan. Then I drew a Hitmonchan, BUT I HAD NO FIGHTING ENERGY IN MY
HAND! This was the worst game ever. I bubbled him agian, but this time
paralyzation failed. He tacled me for 20.  When i drew my card it was a
fighting energy. So I retreated Squritle and killed voltorb with Hitmonchan.
I drew my prize it was an oak. He Jabbed me for 20 with his hitmonchan. I had
nothing in my hand, so I oaked. I had a breeder, and a blastoise and tons of
water energy. I used my breeder and my blastoise, and jabbed him for 20.  He
jabbed me agian.  I retreated and RAINDANCE, RAINDANCE, RAINDANCE! I hit him
for 50 and I won since he had no more basics!
