'Ello Pojo, this is the second modification of my deck, formerly known as
"A
Good Haymaker", now known as Boxers of Raiden. This tourney was held at

are available)

Purpose of this Deck-
Like before, this deck is used to get out pokemon for low energy costs.
Hitmonchans are the good fighters, Scythers help against those other
Haymakers, Electabuzz for those Rain Dance decks, and Aerodactyl to shut
down most other decks. The other pokemon in this deck such as Kangaskan,
Chansey, and Zapdos, are used sometimes as a barrier and sometimes as the
big guns.
Now for the tourney results:
Match 1- Me vs. a kid with a fire and fighting deck
This kid was scared to fight me. He had Charmander and Magmar as basics, and
I dominated the whole match with Hitmonchan and Scyther. I destroyed his
deck's defense with Hitmonchan and then came and finished up with Scyther.
He eventually forfeited before I killed him.
Match 2- Me vs. Michael Moffit(electric)
Out of the tourneys, this kid has been one of the ones that I've been glad
to play against because of the fact that he has a good deck. It was close, I
had been taking out his pokemon with a combo of Scyther and Hitmonchan, but
he got out a Zapdos and stalled until I got a Gust of Wind. He killed my
Hitmonchan with Magneton but I destroyed it with Scyther and Electabuzz. He
eventually died due to Aerodactyl which I got out so easily (Computer
Search).
Match 3- Me vs. Will Craddock(fighing)
This kid was another one that I had looked forward to playing. He had a good
mono fighing deck, but he couldn't evolve with my Aerodactyl out. Scyther
and Aerodactyl were basically the only thing I used, then I finished him off
with a good ol' electric bird butt whoopin'. Hot dang, I love Thunder bolt.
Match 4- Me vs. Ross Something(fighting again)
Yet another kid who was scared to fight me, I destroyed him with Scyther. He
only had a Machop out and didn't get another basic by the time that I had
Scyther powered up so I killed him. About a 5 minute game.
Finals Round 1- Me vs. my brother, Josh(mono fire deck)
He had a headache the whole tourney but it isn't the reason that I beat him.
His mono fire deck was extremely well built (heh, actually I made it),
consisting of a fleet of Magmar, Charizard, and Ninetailes. Although he
didn't beat me, I had fun playing him despite the fact that he only got one
prize.
Finals Round 2- Me vs. Michael again
Same ending, only this time I elbowed my brother in the side for taking my
hat off. Michael died against my Hitmonchans, and when they weren't
available I used Scyther and Aerodactyl. He eventually lost because of his
lack of basic.
Finals Round 3- Me vs. Josh something(with a Rain Dance)
He calls his deck "Bubblebeam", and it was almost strong enough to
hold me
back. I destroyed his barrage of Vaporeon, Blastoise, and Kangaskan (even
the occasional Scyther or two), but the same happened to me. This was a
close game. We both had 1 prize left, and I thank God that he sent out a
Poliwag. I retreated Electabuzz and sent out Scyther for the win.
I won the tourney and received $15.00 store credit which I used to buy 2
japanese Fossil and a Gym 2.
