Hey pojo,

I entered a tourney this week at Manassas Mall at a place called Comic
World. Its 4/8/00 and it starts at 12. There were 8
people participating and winner gets $12 credit. It was 2/3 and brackets.

Strategy: Curse and Kill. This deck is a combination of Sponge and Darkstorm
deck.

Match up:
Nam Nguyen vs Alex Nguyen
Trang Nguyen vs Rick
Hanh Nguyen vs Julie(i think)
Steve vs Julie's lil bro

1st match vs Alex Nguyen w/ raindance
ugh.... i just had to face Alex. He had a raindance so it was easy for me. I
just got out electabuzz and i cursed with gengar.
He got out a blastoise after i had got about 3 prizes. He raindance and was
attacking w/ articuno. I cursed and killed his
articuno. He brought out blastoise and killed my buzz. He had seel benched.
Blastoise already had 60 on him because of
cursing so i brought out another buzz and killed his blastoise. He brought
out seel and i won w/ thunderpunch.
1-0
2nd match
He started w/ 3 squirtles. I pysburned 2 and killed the last one w/
electabuzz. he had seel then so i had to thunder punch
him for the win.

After this i had to wait about an hour and half because i was suupose to
fight the winner of Trang and Rick. Their game
took about 2 hours!! In the meantime, i played Alex's Jap haymaker.

Fun Match vs Alex w/ Jap Haymaker
I had mewtwo out and pumped by turn 1. He had LT. Surge Electabuzz out and
did electric discharge w/ 1 energy and it
30 to me. He had benched TR Scyther and TR Zapdos. I psyburned. He switched
and brought out TR Zapdos and played
Erika's Graceful attack and did plasma to my mewtwo. I SER and Psyburned. He
removed all damage counters w/ erika's graceful
and plasma to kill my mewtwo. I brough out a electabuzz and paralyzed him.
By now i had gengars and they were cursing like
crazy. I managed to kill scyther later with a mewtwo and curse making him
throw away his erika's graceful. He had blaine's
rhyhorn out and tried to kill my buzz w/ gust but failed the flip. I brought
out a built gengar and darkminded twice for the
win.

My sister Hanh had beated Julie and went on to play the winner between steve
and the lil dude. Steve won so Hanh fought him and beat him
too.

Rick beat my other sister Trang after 2 hours so i fought him.

Semi-Finals vs Rick.w/ stall i think.
Started out clefairy vs my Mewtwo and benched Electabuzz and gastly. I had
to scoop up mewtwo and tried to thunder shock him.
He got a chansey on bench and switch to bring out chansey. I thunder punched
a couple times and he used pokemon center.
I ended up decking myself. (ugh.....been weeks since i lost).
2-1
2nd match. I decided to try and deck him this time. His colorless were
resistant to my psy and whenever i used electabuzz,
he would fight my buzz w/ a clefable and SER me so i couldnt do enough
damage. All he had to do was attach 1 energy and
use metronome. I decided to deck him and it was easy. I had my gastlys use
energy conversion and save up all those energies
and i saved up all the bills and trainers i got. When i had 1 card left in
my deck, he ad 5 so i just used gambler adding
about 15 more cards back into my deck.

Last match. Again i had to stall him. He started with abra and i had a
gastly. I went first and i had a comp search in my
hand (ugh...!!! I KNEW I SHOULD'VE ADDED PLUSPOWERS!!). I didnt get a 2nd
turn kill either since he poke traded for a chansey
and my psy were worthless. I managed to deck him out this game too leaving 4
cards in my deck at the end.

Finals vs my sister Hanh w/ my wavemaker
That last game took about an hour so my dad was getting tired of waiting. He
said that he had to go to DC to pick up
something fron his work and that i should let my sister win. He said he
would give me the $12 that I would've gotten
if i won in cash. I said yes since my sister has never won a tourney and I
didnt really need to get anything w/ the
$12 credit so i rather have it in cash. So this game i forfeited.

I did get $8 credit however and i decided to use that to get a TR booster. I
pulled out a TR slowbro.
Today was boring but oh well.
