I went to a tourney in Plainfield, CT. It was held on 4/1/00 in a store
called, "Card Magic" Japanese cards were allowed. There were about 40 people
there. It was single-elimination. Once you lose you are out of it. The prizes
were as follows: 1st-Your choice of 5 American boosters (NOT 1st Ed.) and 5
Japanese boosters. (You could only get a max. of 2 Neo boosters) 2nd-Your
choice of 3 American and Japanese boosters 3rd-$10 Store Credit.

Match One Me Vs. Andrew w/Rain Dance Deck:
This was an easy match because of the L weakness. I drew Electabuzz,
Clefairy, Clefable, TR Zapdos, Prof. Oak, and 2 L energy. I put down my
Basics and go first. I draw and get a Potion. I make TR Zapdos active, attach
and plasma to his active Squirtle and win because of no basics.

Match Two Me Vs. Derek w/another Rain Dance Deck:
This was too easy. I get Electabuzz, Prof. Oak and energies. I go first. Draw
and get Clefairy play on my bench and attach energy to Electabuzz. Prof. Oak
and I forgot what I got. I won this match because my Electabuzz just ran
through his Squrtiles and Seels. I won because I drew my 6 prizes.

Match Three Me Vs. Trevor w/Mono-Fire Deck:
I really wondered how this would turn out. I draw and get TR Zapdos, Base
Zapdos, Voltorb, 2 PlusPower, and energies. I call tails and he goes first.
He has Charmander Vs. my TR Zapdos. He uses scratch. I draw and get PlusPower
and attach energy to TR Zapdos and attach 3 PlusPower and win becuase of no
basics.

Match Four Me Vs. Mike (my friend) w/Sponge Deck:
I made this deck for him so this would be wicked easy. I draw and get TR
Zapdos, Clefairy, 3 D.C.E, and 2 L energy. I go 2nd and he has Mr. Mime Vs.
TR Zapdos. I goes and plays another one on his bench. I go and draw
PlusPower. Attach and do Plasma. He goes and does meditate. I go and do
Plasma again. K.O. his Mr. Mime and do it again with another one. I win
because of no Basics.

FINAlS: Match Five Me Vs. The Best Kid There (supposedly) James w/one of the
best Hayamaker Variants:
People said I should just forfeit. But I went on. I draw and get TR Zapdos,
Base Zapdos, Clefairy, and 4 energy. I go first and draw G.O.W. I send out TR
Zapdos Vs. Scyther. I attach energy and use Plasma for 20. He goes and
attaches leaf energy uses Swords Dance. I go, draw and get Prof. Oak. I
attach L energy to Zapdos and play all the Pokèmon to my bench, and use Prof.
Oak. I get Voltorb, Electrode, 3 PlusPower, 1 L energy, and 1 D.C.E. I put
down Voltorb and attach 3 PlusPower to TR Zapdos and Plasma and win because
of no basics. He had tears in his eyes and was about to cry.

I got 1st place and got 2 Neo Boosters, 2 Team Rocket boosters, 1 Gym 2
booster, and 5 Base boosters.
