In the battle, I versed a boy with an all water
deck.
I fliped a coin to see who went first. He called
tails, but is was heads. I went first.
I had a Paras, Porygon, Nidoran (f), and Bulbasuar
on my bench, and a Parasect, a grass energy and a double colorless energy in
my hand. (a very good hand!)
Well anyway, I brought Paras out, attached the
double colorless energy, and used spore. It put the defending pokemon,
Poliwag, to sleep. My opponent fliped the the coin to see whether
his Poliwag would wake up, but it was tails, so he stayed asleep.
The next turn, I used scratch, and did 20 damage
to Poliwag. In my opponent's turn, Poliwag still stayed asleep.
I evolved my Paras, into Parasect, added an energy
and slashed. 30 Damage to Poliwag. He was knocked out.
My opponent then brang out his last benched
pokemon. Squirtle. My opponent added an energy, and tried to do Bubble. I was
paralized, plus 10 Damage was done to me.
I retreated Parasect, and pulled out nidoran (f).
I put one energy on, and used,Fury Swipes. I flipped the coin three times.
Flip 1: Tails
Flip 2: Tails
Flip 3: Tails!
Now it was my opponents turn. He attached another
energy, and used withdraw.
But luckily, the coin flipped tails, and the
attack failed.
I had only one choice. Because flip coin attacks
can't garauntee damage, I retreated Nidoran (f) and brought out Parasect.
I then used slash, and 30 Damage was dealled out to Squirtle.
Squirtle used Bubble again, but I wasn't
paralized, and the 10 damage couldn't stop me now.
I used Parasect's slash and with 30 damage again,
Squirtle was knopcked out and my opponent had no pokemon left on his bench. I
win! Way to go Parasect!!
I learnt alot this battle, I learnt that Paras is
a super pokemon, and is a must for any Grass deck,
and not to have pokemon with flip coin attacks in
your deck. They can never garauntee damage! Think before you make your next
deck. Garaunteed damage is best!
