"Claymaker 2.0"

Hey Scott. This is James W. and Bryan L. This is James writing this e-mail.
Well, over the weekend we got together and tweaked his Claymaker. What we did
was take out the Magmar and replace it with the Promo Mewtwo. We also took
out the Fire Energy and replaced it with Psychic Energy. It is so much better
and faster. Here is the deck idea.

Get Ditto out as fast as you can! place an energy out on ditto, try to
waste some of your hand and oak! then try to computer search for a lass or a
double colorless or a scoop up. Get rid of the staller then place out ditto
(make sure you have a double colorless energy in your hand ) and lass!!! that
gets rid of all the gust of winds, oaks, energy removals, all those evil
trainers!!  Basically Ditto is a SPEED MACHINE!!!!!!! He can beat the poop
out of anything in a second!!!!! So do this really quick!!
OR
Put Mewtwo out as your active Pokemon and Oak, be sure to waste some psychic
energy so you can Energy Absorption. Then Mewtwo is fully powered for the
second turn.

Here is the tournament report for last friday, it was a swiss tournament
based on points.

Round 1
Me vs. Jarad P. (Haymaker)

The first match I went first.I layed down a Mewtwo and a Ditto on my bench.
He had a Hitmonchan and no bench.I used Computer Search going for a Professor
Oak. Then I Oaked. I placed a Psychic Energy on my Mewtwo and then I Lassed,
his hand was all trainers he had to dump the whole thing . Then I used Energy
Absorption. He drew an Electric Energy and played it on Hitmonchan. Then I
used Psyburn and he was dead.The second match he went first. He had an
Electabuzz out and a Hitmonchan on his bench. All I had was my Scyther. He
played an Electric Energy on His Electabuzz and Thundershocked me. He got
heads and my Scyther was paralyzed. I had a Bill, Comp Search, Scoop Up,Gust
of Wind,Double Colorless Energy,and a Psychic energy. I Comp. Searched for a
Ditto and played it on my bench. I Scooped my Scyther And Billed. I played a
Double Colorless Energy and I Thunderpunched. I got heads. Then he gave up
because he knew he would loose.

me vs. Hambuger

I got a Bye. I went to Princes And ate the best Bacon Cheese Burger, and it
was delicious.

Round 3
Me vs. David D. (Aero Mew)

This was such a breeze. His deck was based on stopping evolutions. Little did
he know I wasn't playing with any evolutions. First turn I pulled off my
Mewtwo combo. Then He went and Psywayed my Mewtwo for 60 HP. Man that was a
beating! The next turn my friends his Mew wasn't as strong as he is known to
be. I demolished His Mew with my Mewtwo ( I always knew evil is better ).The
next match went fairly the same and I ended up winning.

They went straight into the top four and decided to make it only single round
elimination.

Finals-Round 1
Me vs. Johnny B. (1 energy stall)

Well, me and Johnny have been friends for a while. I helped him build the no
energy stall. I knew its weakness. It was w rough deck to beat. First hand he
put out 2 Chansey and an Abra. Then he said go. I had out a Ditto and a
Kangaskhan. I placed a Double Colorless Energy on him then I Oaked. My next
hand was a Mewtwo, Scoop Up, Double Colorless Energy, Psychic Energy,
Professor Oak, Computer Search, and a Bill. I played down the Mewtwo and then
Billed. I drew an Item Finder and a Psychic Energy. Then I used Item Finder,
for the Bill, Dropping the 2xPsychic Energy.Then I Billed again, drawing 2x
Psychic Energy. I said go. He drew and then Used Pokemon Breeder For the
Alakazam. He said go. I drew a Lass. Then I Computer Searched for a Gust of
Wind. I played the other Double Colorless Energy then I used Double Edge. My
Ditto did not die because it has the same HP as Chansey. He went and moved
the 80 damage to the Chansey on the bench. Then he said go. I Scooped Up my
ditto and played Mewtwo as my active. I played a Psychic Energy on Mewtwo and
used Energy Absobption. I said go. He drew and used A Pokemon Center. Then
said go. I drew a Double Colorless Energy.Then I used Gust of Wind and fried
his Alakazam. I drew my first prize. He put Chansey as his active and said
go. I put the Double Colorless Energy on my Scyther and Psyberned his Chansey
for 10. He drew and went (stall decks are such a pain). I scooped my Mewtwo
and then Put out Scyther. Played down a psychic energy, and Oaked. I drew a
Lass, Psychic Energy, 2xDitto, 2xPlus Power, and an Item Finder.I played the
Ditttos and the Plus Powers. Then I lassed.Then I Slashed him for 50 HP.He
went and Drew his 1 Energy. And said go. With my luck I draw Bill. So I
Bill.Then to my amazement I drew a Professor Oak. Then I slashed him for 30.
He retreated and then used Mr. Fuji. And said go. I slashed him and said go.
This went on till his Chansey died.I won that match because he had no more
Pokemon.

Finals
Me vs. Stall (regular)

I got to go first and I had a Ditto and he had an Abra. I played an Energy on
my Ditto then Computer Searched for a Plus Power. That was the end of it. The
quickest Match I have ever won.

There were 14 people in the tournament so the prize was $36. I decided to buy
 2xMagic cards called Masticore. For all you Pokemon players Magic:The
Gathering is a lot better. You all should start playing it. But don't quit
Pokemon it is still a fun game.
