The tourney was a League day on 4-22-00, at Richie's Playhouse At Lansing

I just joined the league today, so I wasn't used to the compettition, and
I was distracted by trading, so I only had one game.
Me(Wildfire)vs. Rich KId (Fire/Water)
He wins flip.My hand, 2 Gusts, Lickitung, 1 fire energy, 2 Gambler, 1
Energy Retrieval. He sends out Squirtle, I Licktung. He bubbles, no
paralyzation. My turn, draw Magmar, lay down an energy on lickitung,
tounge wrap, paralyzed. He puts down wartortle, eevee and moltres. he
attaches 2 water energy, but he's new too, so I let it slide. He doesn't
seem to want to withdraw, so I go. Draw a fire. attach to magmar. I gust
out Eevee and tounge wrap. tails. ge retreats, lays down blastoise and 4
waters, I tell him that blastoise only needs 5, so he took it back. He
hydro pumps me for 60. I go, get a fire energy, attach to magmar. I
tongue wrap, tails again! He KO's Lickitung. I send up magmar, draw
licktung. I gambler for fun, since I know I'll lose, tails, a fire. Smog,
tails. He KO's magmar, I send up licktung. tails, twice in a row, he
wins. Oh well, I got 4 hitmos, scythers, electabuzz and ditto, and other
stuff, so I was happy. He shows me his deck afterwards, 4 Charizards, 4
Blastoise, 4 Moltres and 4 Articuno. But this was nothing to the kid who
had 27 hitmonchans, geez! But I had a good time, and next time, I'll beat
that Mewtwo on 64... Until next time..............
