Tom's back from the hatemail he copped for liking the
base ghosts to submitt a killer deck. Here it is.
Energy (24)
24 Lightning Energy.
Pokemon (16)
3 Zapdos (2 fossil, 1 Base) (All moves are great, but
they're expensive, thats where electrode comes in.)
3 Electabuzz (Goes into every
single good lightning deck, and mine is no exception.)
3 Voltorb (Only for evolving, thats why i put the bear
minimum in.)
3 Electrode (Base) (Buzzap is great for powering up
Zapdos, and electric shock gets rid of a pesky Blastoise in one go.)
1 Ditto (Only good in certain situations, that wy
there's only 1 in there)
2 Jiggalo-puff (He'll put you to sleep and pound your
as-.)
1 Wigglytuff (Couldn't resist-do the wave is so kool)
Trainers (20)
4 Bill (draw 2 cards, say no more)
2 Pokemon Trader (trade a useless Voltorb for a Zapdos,
thats trader's dream job)
2 Super potion (healing is cool)
2 Gust of wind (everyone uses them, so why can't I?)
2 Computer Search (you can search for ANY card you want)
2 Defender (nothing said)
2 Plus power (none said)
1 Oak (in all my days as a collector, iv'e only ever got
one)
1 Gambler (Same as Ditto, only good sometimes)
Here's how it went at the pokemon league a couple of
days ago.
Match 1 VS Raindancer.
I draw voltorb, electrode, Zapdos, plus power and
energy. All he has is poliwag, so he attaches and water-guns for 10. I buzzap
and attach for no damage. He plays Bill, still no basics, water guns for 20. I
attach and thunder-storm to win.
1 To Tom- 0 to challengers.
Match 2 VS Tree hugger
I go first, draw Buzz, Jiggly,
Voltorb, Defender and energy. I attach, i thunder-shock for paralyse. He has
Bulbasaur out, Bellsprout on bench. He evolves Bellsprout, and does no
attacks. I draw, get gambler, attach energy, and thunderpunch. I draw prize.
Next "challenge" is weepinbell. He poisonpowders me and poisons. I
attach Defender, energy to Jiggly, and thunder punch for 10 to myself. He
razor leafes for 10 (defender). I draw, get energy, and thunder punch for 40.
His Weepinbell is a gonna. He sends out Oddish, attaches plus power and stun
spores for paralysis. This is the end of Buzz. I send out the almighty Jiggly,
get Bill, attach energy, and pound his sad ass. He stun spores, but dosn't
paralyse. I pound and win on lack of Basics.
Match 3 VS Sage fire.
This one was easy. First up,
charmader vs Buzz. I Buzzap, attach plus power, and thunderpunch for 50 he has
0 basics, I win in 1 turn (thats gotta be some kinda record).
