Turbo-Curse (Lightining-Psychic)

 This is a small report on my 'lil invention.
It all started out with me, my friend, and my friend's brother, being stuck
in Peoria, with no Pre-released tournaments there. Well, we talked my parents
into taking us to La Salle, about 2 hours away from Peoria. We left at 6 AM,
scared of being late. Arriving there about 8 AM, we had to wait 4 hours by
the store...We were literally at each-other's throats by the end of the
waiting.
Well, enought with the whining, here's the deck!

 First I wanted it to bea mono-Psychic...but, after quite a few battles
against wigglies, Electabuzz seemed to be the only solution.(I hate
Hitmonchans).

Anyways...
Match #1
vs. a kid (I didn't know anyone's names there -_-') with a "Cunorizer"(a
varietyof water deck, based on Articunos)
  Match was easy. He sent out a Lapras, while I countered with an active
MewTwo,benched Scyther and Ditto. I had a Computer Search, Bill and 2
Psychics in my hand. I computer-searched for an Oak, billed, got a Psychic
and a Haunter, attached a Psychic to MewTwo, and energy-absorbed. Kid
attached water energy to his benched Kuno, and passed. I drew a lightning,
attached it to Ditto, Oaked(Getting Sabrina's Gaze, 2 Scoop-ups, 2 DCEs, a
Psychic energy, and a Gengar), and PsyBurned his Lapras. He attached a Water
to Cuno, and Lassed me.(His hand was a bunch of water energy) I drew a Super
energy Removal, and discarded Ditto's Lightning to SER his Cuno. Then
finished Lapras off. He brought out Cuno, benched a Chansey, and, despite my
hint on Colorless, being resistant to Psy, attached an energy to Cuno and
passed. I drew another MewTwo, and Psy-burned. He attached another energy and
passed. I drew yet another SER, and SERed him. It was his turn to scream. In
2 turns, I resolved his Cuno.(having 60 Damage on myself). He sent out a
Chansey, and benched a Seel.I Billed, got an Electabuzz, and a Scoop-up.
attached a Lighting to the Buzz, and energy-absorbed for no appearant reason.
In another 3 turns, I got my hands on Gust of wind (his Chansey had 70 from
my Buzz already). His Seel was KO'd rather painlessly (for the Seel, kid was
going nuts!).Afterwords, he Double-edged the Buzz, KO'ing it, and the
Chansey, and running out of Basic Pokemon.

Match #2
Vs. some kind of Multy-color deck.
 Can't remember the details, exept that the kid gotten Muliggans about 10
times in a row. He ended up with a Ditto vs. a Gastly. With a help of 2
+Powers, Ditto was a gooner.

Match #3
vs. a teen with a Haymaker.
 Probably one of the weirdest battles. He had a Fire-Fighting deck, based on
Hitmonchan and Charizard. Movie MewTwo wiped out 3 of the Chans, when big,
bad Charmeleon came into play, and wiped out the MewTwo. I sent out a
Scyther, dealing 30. He evolved Meleon into a Charizard, attached 5th energy,
and KO'd me. I SERed him, and sent out a Gengar. It ended up as a very
stressfull victory for me.

Match #4
vs. my friend (Seel_767's her nickname) and her Cunorizer.
 It ended up with Movie Articuno, killing off my 2 Gengars.

Rematch
vs. Seel_767.
 I just couldn't go defeated! This time, her Articunos didn't have a chance
to grow up. I dittoed Fossil one, and hit her bench twice for 10, knocking
out a weakened Kangaskhan.

Match #5
vs. yet another kid with a Haymaker.
 I started off with a Gastly, while he Rattataed. The Rat solved my Gastly in
2 turns (Sometimes, don't You hate +Powers?), but, by then, i had the Buzz
ready to go. He Energy removaled my Buzze's Lighting energy, and i was stuck
for 2 turns . Afterwords, he attached some more energy to Pinsir, and evolved
Rattata into Raticate. I finally got a sabrina's Gaze, and Gazed myself out
of trouble. My new hand contained a Scyther, some trainers, and 2 (Yay!)
Lighting energy(not to mention a DCE, and a Nightly Garbadge Run). Haymaker
couldn't stand to the power of Tgunderpunches, giving me another victory.

Matches #6-12 i don't clearly remember, thought they all were against
Hay-makers.


Match #13
vs. some sort of Rain Dance, played by a 10-year-old.
 Started out with Squirtle, Paralyzing my Gastly. I attached an energy, and
passed. She evolved into Wartortle, benched 2 Magicarps, attached a water to
Wartortle, and was done. I benched a Buzz, a MewTwo, retreated the Gastly,
and Oaked, discarding 3 energy .Then attached a Psychic Mew2, and
energy-absorbed. She evolved into Blastoise, and passed.(it seemed, that her
hand consisted of yrados and Rocket Sneak Attacks..)I attached an Energy to
buzz, Compu-searched for another +Power, and KO's Blastoise. She sent out a
Gyrados, attaching a water to it. I retreated MewTwo, brought out Buzz,
attached a Psychic to Buzz, Gust of winded yet another Magicarp, and KO's it.

  Then, they gave out a tornado worning, and we had to end-up early...~_~..
Out of about 30 people, I got 2nd place( 1st one belonged to a local champ,
who was also a Gym Leader). Prizes were 8 Gym 1 Boosters! Only 2 holofoils...

However...

Can You believe it!? That store charged 10$ to get in!!!

To the thunderstorm, that stopped all the fun.
To the ONLY 2 foils in my boosters.
