This is an awsome deck. This is a cool version of a haymaker, but much
faster. The addition of the Dodrio line and the Raichu line make this
deck faster with Dodrio's Reatreat Aid. With this power in play, all
your pokes can retreat for 1 or for free. So without further chat, here
the linup:

This was a Gym Heros Pre-Release tourney. So just for entering, you
got 2 free Gym Hereos boosters. In those first 2 pack, I got a holo
Team Rocket Moltres and a holo Lt. Surge's Fearow. I was felling really
lucky after that. They divided us in to 4 groups: 12 and up
restricted
(only 1 comp search, 1 itemfinder, and 1 super energy removal), 11-
unrestricted, 11- under restricted, and 12 and up unrestricted.
The
winners of each group got 12 packs of Gym Hereos and 2nd from each got
8. I was in the 11- unrestircted group. Heres the round by round
commentary.
Rnd. 1 Me vs some snotty kid with a bad lisp who was a real annoying
kid who made fun of Raichu with a self-destruct deck (that i had helped
him make. I knew every thing in it.)
I went first. I got a chan and buzz out to start with. The other
cards in my hand were 4 electric energies, and a super energy removal.
I attached the electric energy to my Pika and Gnawed his magnamite for
10. Then he put a grass on Koffing . I laughed. Then he
passed
without attacking. I played the other electric on Pika and then thunder
jolted for a K.O. on magnimite, no damage to me. He brought out koffing
and passed. I got Raichu and another electric on him and Agilitied for
20. I got heads. He evolved into Weezing and passed. I played
a
fighting on Raichu and Thundered. Game, Set, Match. Always wanted to
say that.
Rnd. 2 Me vs some kid with a Garydos Deck?!?!.
He went first and tackled my electabuzz with his 'karp. I played an
energy on buzz. I said it was time for buzz to slap on the "Buzzkiller"
next turn. I passed without attacking. He got got out Garydos and
another water on him. I was in trouble. Buzz was my only pokemon.
I
attached another energy and thunder punched for 40. He then Oaked and
got no more water energies in his hand. So he passed. So it was now
down to wether or not i got another pokemon in play. And guess what?
I
drew a Scyther and attached a double colorless. Then I thunder punched
for 30. Buzz was at 50 hp and Garydos was at 30. he got another
water
on Garydos and killed my Buzz. The I attached a fighting to Scyther and
that was all she wrote.
Finals: Me vs a really nice kid who was new to the league but whose
Evee deck was great.
This kid was very good and nice. He was only 7 years old also and new
to pokemon. His first card was an evee so he decided to make an evee
deck.
He focused on Flareon and Vaporeon. So he went first. He got a DCE
on
evee and quick attacked my hitmonchan for 30. I played a fighting
energy and jabbed for 40 damage. He the evolved into Vaporeaon and
quick attacked chan for 10. I then played a Promo non movie pikachu and
attached an electric to it and passed. I had forgoton to attack. He
said he would let me do over and I said I made the mistake so no redo.
He played 2 potions on vaporeaon. He then killed chan with a
quick
attack and drew a prize. I played another electric on pika and and
thundershocked for 40 and no parylize. He then quick attacked for 10.
I then played a Raichu on Pikachu and another electric and agilited for
a K.O. He brought out his last evee and tail wagged but it didnt work.
I then played a DCE on Raichu and Thunderd for the final K.O.
I had just won my group. I got my 12 boosters and gave 2 of them to
the 7 year old. I wanted us to have the same number of packs and he
only had 60 cards which was his evee deck. In my packs i got 10 rares
(Duh!). They were a holo Lt. Surges Raichu, a holo Misty's Garydos,

more holo Lt. Surge's Fearows, 1 non-holo Misty's Poliwrath, a holo
Brock's Rhydon, a non-holo Brock's Ryhorn, and a Lt. Surge's Jolteon. I
traded my Jolteon to the 7 year old whose name was Mark for a non-holo
ditto. Thats all I remeber of my packs.

Slops to the first kid for saying Raichu stinks. I think he learned not
to underestimate Raichu anymore.
