ok theres the deck, now for the battles
Round 1 vs kid with a deck-many-colors
He played an odd deck with a ton of different of
different types. He called it a damage multiplyer. Ok then well i started with
a pika,raichu,2 thunder,oak,scyther,and a DCE. He played a rocket Squirtle. i
played pika, and went first. i drew another electric and put on the rat.
He put a fire energy on the squirt. I went and played a lectric energy and
won. After the battle i helped him make his deck better and he gave me a 1rst
edition base blastiose for the help because he decided he hated water and
wanted to award me :)
Round 2 vs kid with a turboblastoise deck
Ok this guy had all the cards but was lacking in
strategy. i got like the ultimate anti rain hand, with 2 ers, 2 lectabuzz, 2
lectric energy and i RSA. i played and benched a buzz and he played a magikarp
active and lapras on the bench. like i said, got the cards but not the
strategy. i went first, drew a lectric and rsa'd a breeder awy then parylyzed
the karp. he went and attached a water energy to the karp. **Cough** i went
and dumped the karp and skipping a few i blew away lapras and 2 rocket
squirtles and he benched out.
Round 3 vs
mono grass deck
Ok everyone
everyone told me to go easy on him but who am I to listen to such crap? his
deck had about 2/3s japenese cards. i hate that ppl use those. but a short
story cut shorter he had a kogas weedle and all energys and i had a electa
buzz. turn two=kockout :) after the battle i offered him deck advice but he
rejected and instead continued to play. **side note** this guy cheated a
F***ing ton. edit that out if you like but man he made up about half the japs
attacks right then and there. >.<
Round 4 vs Jason
with Psy/Thunder deck
this guy was
experienced and a regular tournement favorite and considered the best there. I
ended up playing him three times but i will summarize all the battles here.
no.1 i blew him away with a buzz to base abra. rd.2 pretty much the same cept
i had a scyther and dce. RD 3 was where it got real interesting. he and i both
got perfect hands, me with magmar, 2 fire, buzz, 2 lectric, and hitmo, and 1
fighting. i play out hitmo and he played a promo mewtwo and abra benched. i
drew another fighting energy and played it and put it on hitmo and hit for 20.
he drew and played a lectabuzz and put a psy energy on abra O.o. i went drew a
pluspower and put another fighting on hitmonchan and and hit him for 20. he
went and sat with a bunch of psy, one of which he put on the now kadabra. i
saw where this was going and went and drew another fire. i put it on magma and
pluspowered away mewtwo. he played buzz and went. he put another psy on
kadabra and played chansey. then he computer searched an alakazam and played
it. At this point i was nervous but after 2 turns of forty and charging up my
bench i realized that he was letting buzz stay out to take damage. after
doing this a couple of times i had a charged raichu and he said he was
out of scoop ups.... he had everyone except buzz with ten left. why he tried
to keep it alive i don't know. so i sent out raichu and got i heads, 1 tails.
got rid of pesky alakazam and chansey. apparently all of his basics were in
his prizes but then he sent out another kadabra and proceeded to mop the floor
with it using recover and super psy really well. it ended up with
lickitung to it and i finally killed that stupid thing with tongue wrap.
**Side note** i
think this was based on my other deck, mewtwos power blast
Rd 5 vs speed psy
deck
he played a
ancient mew to lickitung. by turn 3 neither of us got any basics and i ko'd
mew.
well thats the
report, i hope you enjoyed it!
