OK, I sent my Gym Heroes Prerelease Tournament report
in but hasn't ben posted (yet), so I decided to send
this one so it will hopefully be posted. This was like
a normal day, except today I played many different
people, ones I have never tried to play.

Ok, this deck preforms very well, a very good tourney
worthy deck. This deck has amazing speed, with the
absence of bill I have found that deck works with
almost the same speed, and with the addition of NGR, I
can more freely discard cards for the discarding
trainers including Oak to get a certain card at a
certain time and don't worry, and also use it to
prevent decking as well. Their is a perfect amount of
disruptive trainers, and that covers the trainers.
The pokemon mix is very potent, it can take down a
well built archtype, all that I have faced were close
but not as good. The only problem I see is a well
built raindance, which can overtake me in power, and
my ER tactics have semi-little effect, though
sometimes devastating, mostly not. This deck has a
even win loss record vs. Raindnace decks but no other
type of deck has even come close. The poemon work very
very well together, Chansey stalls for the big hitters
and can take on sponge decks or can stall against
quick haymakers, and Lapras can attack like a Scyther
but on turn 1 with ability of confusion, a higher
retreat, but more HP. Lapras takes on Mr. Mime which
can shut down this deck, though so can squirtle and
pilwag, they evolve and Lpras is good early game AND
late game.
Their is plenty of diversity with the finder and
breeder, and the deck compliments itself. Blastoise
compliments ER decks, as it can attack with heavy
damage, create raindance archtype, and have a heavy
slow ER attacker, fast, heavy, dirty, and mean. OK, I
hope I didn't bore you with that, I tried to keep it
simple.
Ok, I'll keep the report non-boring, simple and quick.
I get bored of reading detailed reports so I'll write
what happened concerning the deck, what changes need
being made, ect.
Round 1 vs. Kid with Kangaskhan & 7 D.C
OK, my deck preformed well, this kid did not know how
to play and played with 7 D.C. which was ilegal, I
told him it was OK but he'd have to fix it later. This
does not need noted, he was no challenge.
1-0
Round 2 vs. Kid with a Water deck
This deck I played wasn't badly built, and I noted how
my deck had speed, and could take down any water
pokemon when raindnace wasn't available (he only had 1
blastoise).
2-0
Round 3 vs. Same Kid
He beet me with a TR squirtle against my lone poliwag,
he used a D.C. and I had 1 water energy only. Nothing
needed noted because I did not shuffle well.
2-1
Round 4 vs. Guy with jungle pikachu deck
This guy challenged me to sudden death and was waaay
to over confident. He said, after I won, that his othr
dek at home could kill my deck and he was waaay
better. I laughed sliently at this. He also said,
because i made first place at the Gym Heroes Tourney,
he played at THE REAL place. I laughed at this as the
place I played at was the real place. Anyway, I noted
how well I perform vs. lightning, one of my
weaknesses. I had oaked 2 times, searched 1, and
basically got full powered Blastoise turn 2, retreated
Lapras with 40 damage on it, and killed his pikachu
and won cause sudden death. I await his challenge next
time with his somethin combination destroyer deck.
3-1
Round 5 vs. kid with promo pikachu deck
This kid was pretty good, not the greatest, but a
pretty good challenge. He was using the pikachu that
has recharge and 50 damage attack. I noted how well my
ER worked against him, they popped up pretty well and
kept him at bay vs. my weakness. I overpowered him
when Poliwrath came out and was removing an energy a
turn and doing 40 dmage with grass weakness instead. I
eventually won.
4-1
Not bad, that bad hand before made me lose a game but
oh well. I ahd fun. except with the guy wgo thought he
was better than me.
