Note: Every Illustration on these cards are
done by Keiji Kinebuchi. I wanted to see if I could make a workable deck
with just one artist's cards.
First Battle - I battled a kid nicknamed Koga.
He had a Electric Fire deck. He only had out a 40hp pokemon, I had
Voltorb active, with Voltorb and Magnemite on the bench, and in my hand I had
an Electrode. I evolved Voltorb on the second turn, did BuzzZap and
attached Electrode to Magnemite, and did self destruct to win the game.
Second Battle - I played Koga again and won again. I used
an Electrode.
Third Battle - I played up against a Raindance type deck, and I
started out with Dittos. I don't remember too much of the battle.
It was long, and in the end I lost.
Fourth Battle - I played one of the first Gym Hero decks I've
seen. It was all Misty. I had a Voltorb active and a Voltorb on my
bench. I had energy in my hand. My opponent just had a Misty's
Horsea out. I attacked with my Voltorb for 20 (weakness). My
opponent evolved into Misty's Seadra, and did Tail Snap, I attacked agan for
20. My opponent knocked me out, then my other Voltorb knocked him out a
couple of turns later.
Fifth Battle - Psychic Deck. I had Voltorb, plenty of
energy, and an Electrode in my hand. They didn't have much out. It
was a semi-quick battle. I won.
Sixth Battle - I played against a grass deck. I had
Voltorb out and got knocked out pretty quick. I lost.
Seventh Battle - A fighting/water deck. A pretty long
battle. I had dittos at the start of the game. Towards the end I
had Voltorbs and Magnemites. I don't remember many details other than that I
won.
