Well this is my first time to any pokémon tournament, but I am well
prepared. Most people there were
nice. The first thing I did when I entered Games Galore was buy the new
Topdeck magazine with the
promo psyduck I heard about on the Pojo. Then I went and took a seat,
looking through my deck.
Here are the contents after I got my 2 Gym Heroes packs:(translations
for those who don't have gym
heroes cards yet.)

Anyways it was pretty well organized and we started...
Round 1 vs. A guy with a Psychic Deck
It was pretty tough, and I thought I'd lose. Well I ended up getting a
Blastoise 2nd turn and raindance
go energies on all my water pokémon later turns, while jigglypuff
stalled. I got my full power Dark
Blastoise out and wiped all 3 of his movie mewtwos out and some other
junk he had. Win because of
prizes.
1-0
Round 2 vs. David with a raindance Deck
Well his movie articuno wasn't good enough to stand up against my
Blastoise I got a few turns later. At
first I was lacking basics, but then he came to be lacking energies, and
his Blastoise and articunos
couldn't hold out.
2-0
Round 3 vs. Anthony with a weird deck with a few electrabuzzes
I had a pretty hard time. But I won because of Surge's treaty, and I
got that one prize card to make the
game. I killed off his kangaskan and then came a few electrabuzzes.
they killed off my Blastoise, but I
and another and came back to finish him off. (btw someone tell him the
rule on NGR)
3-0
Round 4 vs. one of the top 3 players.
Well I was in the top 3 at this moment. This game decided if I'd get
into the second or third place.
Well this was the hardest game. We both had raindance decks. We both
killed off 4 pokémon each
and then he decked out. He had too many oaks, and NGR kept him going
for a bit. At this time
everyone got a Misty's Seadra Promo.. mine got kinda wet, but it kept
its good condition.
I won this one..wow I am amazed.
4-0
Final Round vs. Carson
He had a fighting Deck. I now will upgrade yet again and add articunos
after this. He killed my
Blastoise off with a hitmonchan. He won because of lack of basics.
4-1
Well the prizes got handed out a bit alter. Everyone got 1 booster pack
for the highest age level. Then
the top 8 got their prizes. Somehow there must have been a mishap, but
I got third place, which gave
me 5 packs still. I pulled a Holo Brock, surges electrabuzz, sabrina's
venomoth, Misty' goldeen, and a
Charity. The two rares I got form the two packs before were TR moltres
and a TR snorlax, not bad :-).
I was glad I payed that $6 entree fee, it was quite a nice tourney. I
shall attend more and send in more
deck reports to Pojo. now here are my props and slops:
Props to:
My dad for driving me around
Games Galore for having the tourney
to me for actually doing well
for all the opponents that lost to me
and to Carson for winning
And to Pojo for their great site
Slops to:
My bro for getting very angry and being very rude when he was denied
entree because he was older
than 14.
to the junk I got out of my packs.
to the fools at a league afterward who traded me a neo 2 beedrill and a
pichu for about a total of 7
gym heroes extras I had
Cya another time and keep up the good work pojo,
