Breifing
Ok, I haven't sent a report for the past 2 weeks
or so, but I had the time to send this one. Last time I sent one was using
that Potpourri Mutation thing, which really sucked. Alot of people were
trying to tell me how to fix it, but I just wanted to experiment it,
nothing more. I made it on the spot that day with my available card pool
as well. This time though, I felt like playing something that came natural
to me other than Sponge and Multi-Sponge, which is Wavemaker. I haven't
played an actual Wavemaker in about a month and a half or so. This time, I
made the deck using R. Zapdos. This card was a big help.
Also last time, I was defeated by Andy. His dad
sent a very heart-felt letter to me about that, so I am apoligizng gonna
about that. He beat me fair and sqaure. But if he comes the next time, I
wanna rematch and I want him to make his deck at home. That way it's fair.
And if you're reading this, please don't use Neo's, I hate Japanese cards.
Now that that's all said and done, let me get to
the deck...

Deck Breifing
Ok, this is your standard
Wavemaker. It could have been better if I had a few more cards, but this
is what I had. For those who don't know, a Wavemaker deck beats senslessly
down on the opponent with strong fast basics while using Wigglytuff to do
up to 60 damage. This deck is capable of getting Wigglytuff evolved, a
full bench, and a Double Colorless and Lightning attached to him to do 60
damage first turn.
This deck uses Rocket's Zapdos for his fast first
attack and powerful second attack while having resistance to fighting, and
Scyther for his fast attack while having free retreat and resistance to
fighting as well. The Wigglytuff line is at 4/4 for maximum efficiency. I
have alot of card drawing and searching to get Wigglytuff set up turn 2. I
have Rocket's Sneak Attack maxed so they cannot get set up fast enough to
get that Gym card or ER/SER to hurt me or just to stop them from setting
up. Gust of Wind is in their so I can reduce their threat to nothing, such
as Brock's Mankey. The Plus Power can help me take down Haymaker basics
with Tuff or Wigglytuff with Rocket's Zapdos. It also allows for Scyther
to KO Haymaker basics in 2 hits. Energy Flow is their because I am using
Wigglytuff and Scytehr and 4 Double Colorless is precious to the deck.
Scoop Up allows for easy retreat with Rocket's Zapdos and removes damage
from Scyther and Rocket's Z! apdos; it also works well with En
Match 1
Ok. For the first match, I played this new kid.
He seems cool, but I dunno his name... Sorry. He was playing a somewhat
modified Blaine's deck. This tournament, we played single elimination, so
their was only 1 round, and the fee was a dollar. We played 6 prizes.
Round 1
Ok, I do believe I got the coin flip to this
match. I went first, drawing my card. I believe I had a Jigglypuff down. I
attached a Double Colorless which was in my hand, and Computer Searched
for a Professor Oak, and played it. I got a couple basics, a Rocket's
Sneak Attack, and a Professor Oak. I played down the basics, Rocket
Sneaked his hand which was all fire and a couple basics, then played
Professor Oak. I got a few more basics along with some energy, a Plus
Power, and a Wigglytuff. I palyed the basics and Pounded with Jigglypuff.
He attached an energy to a Growlithe, and attached a few basics. I
attached an energy, evolved to Wigglytuff, and KO'd his Growlithe. The
game lasted a few more turns like this, and I eventually won.
1-0
Match 2
This match was against Jeremy. He usually plays a
different deck each weak, and they are always orginal. He also lacks
things like Professor Oak. He plays well though. He was playinga Giovanni
Grass deck.
Round 1
Ok, this game had the same
fate as Match 1, except he was playing a different deck. He started up
with a Nidoran, and I a Scyther. I used Professor Oak a couple times to
put myself in the same set up as last time. He had 2 basics, his other was
Scyther. I won.
2-0
Match 3
This time it was the finals. We didn't have very
many people thus is why their were so little matches, and we started late
do to waiting for more people to show thus having 1 Round. Anyways, I
played Josh, a little kid who plays much like Jeremy, with a Giovanni deck
as well but making it focused on Nidoking.
Round 1
This round was a bit different. I couldn't draw
anything. I had a lone Jigglypuff for half the game and couldn't top-deck
a Prosseor Oak or Computer Search to pull me out of the situation. This
round is fuzzy to me, thus their being little detail, but he had 3
Scythers in the deck which all came out. I did manage to draw a Scytehr
and Rocket's Zapdos through the match, but it was still hard to take down
his Scythers. I eventually did though and then took down his other wimpy
basics. I cannot believe I won. If their had been someone here who played
a great deck, I would have been crushed.
3-0
So I basically won the
tournament. I didn't get a prize cause their was too little time to pick
out what I wanted, so I can next week. Also, their was this kid their and
I don't remeber his name but he will be back next weak. He is really good,
so expect a good battle. I do believe I will end up on top, but I dunno. I
made a new deck for this, but not my best. Also, I am Kazer on PoJo
message Boards. I am also an amatuer deck mech and I fix decks or give
advice ect. Just email me or post somethin on the boards that I may see
and I'll help. :)
