Dragon Strike

Hey all you Pojoheads!!! S' me once again, and this time I changed around to...a... well, I really don't know what you would call it. Even with No Removal Gym, there's still speed to get me, and I didn't really have that. I changed my deck around a lot, but, I still kept the Scythers. (My brother was gonna take 'em all for his deck) So, I present...

Right. He changed around his deck; I don't really know about it that much...I started off with 2 Dratini's (one on Bench) to his active Nidoran Female. On his Bench was a Nidoran Male. I pick up an Electric NRG and my hand is:1 Electabuzz, 1 Scyther, 1 Oak, 1 Grass and a N.G.R. I put on the grass, laid down the 2 Pokemon and Oaked. I get: 2 D.C.E., 1 Dragonair, 1 R.S.A., 1 Comp. Search and 2 Bills. Playing the Bills, I got 2 Grass, 1 Electric and E.R. I played the R.S.A., taking away an Energy Removal. Nothing much in his hand to worry about. I pass. David put down a Grass NRG and used Fury Swipes, getting all heads. >:^( Of couse, I laid down the D.C.E. and evolved. I get 2 heads with slam. >:^) I pick up an R.S.A. as a prize. He brought out the Nidoran Male and passed. I laid down a Grass, R.S.A.'ed nothing and Hyper Beamed. He puts down a TR Diglett and passes. I Comp. Search for Plus Power and kill off Nidoran Male. David brings out diglett, puts on a Grass NRG and passes. I slapped down a Plus Power and hoped for a heads. I roll the dice. Roll...roll...roll...Tails!!! No!!! Roll...roll...roll... Heads!!! Yes!!!

If anyone's gonna give me trouble, it's him. I'm not sure how my deck's gonna function around him. At the league, he was not using this deck, he was using a Giovanni one with 2 'Champs, a Nidoking and Queen. Anyways, I can't remember the details. It was a very loooooooooong battle. We were going back and forth with prizes. Near the end, Trevor had Clefable out with no damage counters on, and a Hitmo' also undamaged on his Bench. Both of 'em were Energyless, thanx to my S.E.R.s and E.R.s. I have a Scyther out, no damage and a Grass and a D.C.E. on him. Also, a Bench just full of damaged Pokee's. We both were down to 1 prize. I picked up my 3rd last card, (Man, I almost decked!) and Slashed his Clefable. He grins and plays an E.R. on my D.C.E. Then he plays a--SWITCH??!! What's a Switch doing in his deck?? Oh, wait. Now I see it. He's trying tuh deck me! SACRE BLEU!! OH NUTS!! But my next card is a G.O.W. Hmmm. I looked in my discard pile. I've used 3 +Power's. That means the last one is in either my deck, or last prize. Okay, I used G.O.W. for his Clefable, and Comp. Search. I look at my last card. OH NO! It's the last D.C.E.! *Sob...Sniff* Hey, what's this? The last Plus Power...It's in my hand! It was in there all along! My hand was just so big I didn't notice! Phew, I'm glad that's over...

The last time I played him, (Which was a long time ago) James had Stall. He still did. He might have changed it though...I decide not to play an Oak or Bill-just in case he tries to deck me. I have a Dratini. He has Lickitung out, with 1 Psy and 1 Colorless Pokemon on his Bench. (I forget what those Pokemon were) He goes first, puts on a Psy NRG and uses Tongue Wrap, getting heads. Darn. My hand is 2 Scyther, an R.S.A., 2 Grass, a D.C.E. and an Oak I just picked up. I laid down both Scy's and a Grass on one. I R.S.A. Hmmm, G.O.W., S.E.R. or Scoop Up. G.O.W. is useless for him, I don't think he's gonna Scoop Up, so, I make him shuffle that S.E.R. back into his deck. I pass. He lays down Chansey, puts a D.C.E. on it, and Tongue Wraps, once again paralyzing. I pick up a E.R. and use it on Chansey.Then, a Grass on my Scyther without an NRG on it. I pass. He Tongue Wraps, Paralyzes, I do my stuff, blah blah blah. To make a long story short, (mainly 'cause I don't want to explain that anoying Lickitung Tongue Wrapping all the time) my Scyther's killed his Lickitung, his Abra that was going to be an Alakazam, and the rest of my Pokemon all pitched in and helped to K.O. the rest of his Pokemon, including that stupid Chansey who kept Scrunching and PokeCentering. >:^( Eventually, I won by prizes 6-4.

Hey, this is new. Kale usually plays a Psy/Fire Stall. Wonder why he switched? Unfortunately, I had to Mulligen twice before I got 2 Dratini's. >:^( He was all happy 'cause he had a kick a** hand. My hand is: 1 Electric NRG, 1 R.S.A., I Oak, 2 Grass NRG and I just picked up D.C.E. I wonder what his "kick a**" hand is? I use R.S.A. Aha! A Comp. Search, an E.R. and a G.O.W. The rest Water Energies. Hmmm. I take away the Comp. Search. He doesn't seem too happy now. I play a Grass NRG on Dratini, instead of the D.C.E. (Just in case he uses E.R., I'd much rather lose the Grass NRG, not the D.C.E.) I pass. Kale retreats for Lapras. Then he E.R.'s my Grass NRG. He puts on a Water NRG and uses Water Gun for 10. I slap down a D.C.E. and Oak, getting: 2 Dragonair, :^) another R.S.A., 1 Grass NRG, 2 Electric NRG and an Electabuzz. I use the other R.S.A. and take away his G.O.W. I put down Electabuzz and Wrap w/heads. Kale lays down another Lapras and adds a Water NRG to his active one. He passes. Of course, I evolve Dratini and I add an Electric NRG. I Slam and get 1 heads. He adds another NRG and tries to use Confuse Ray, but fails. I draw Comp. Search and use it to get a +Power. I slap that down, put an Electric NRG on Electabuzz and Slam, killing off that Lapras. Next turn, I retreat Dragonair for Electabuzz and use Thunderpunch w/tails on Kale's other Lapras. You can guess who won...

!!What the...!! What kind of deck is this? I was up against was a kid whose deck consisted of a bunch of Bellsprout's, Weepinbel's, Weedle's, Venonat's and Potions! Wow, am I ever lucky! Well, it didn't matter anyway...I was about to win the tourny. I didn't pay much attention to that game. I have Electabuzz and Dratini vs. his Bellsprout, Venonat and Weedle. I have: 3 Grass NRG, 1 Plus Power, 1 S.E.R. and an E.R. that I just picked up. Grass on Dratini and "Go." Grass on Connor's Bellsprout and, "Vine Whip." I get Dragonair as next card. ;^) Another Grass NRG on Dratini, E.R. and Wrap w/heads. He evolves into Weepinbel with a Grass NRG and uses Poisonpowder, no heads. I pick up a D.C.E., use it for Dragonair and Hyper Beam. He Potions his Weepinbel, puts on a Grass NRG and uses Poisonpowder w/heads. >:^( Dragonair's down to 40 HP. Electric NRG on my Electabuzz and Hyper Beam. He once again uses Potion. >:^( Connor uses Poisonpowder. I lay down the +Power, use S.E.R. on Weepinbel and use the Comp. Search for an Oak. My next hand: Oak, 2 Electric NRG, 2 Scyther, 1 Grass NRG and a D.C.E. I put the 2 Scythers on my Bench. Another Electric NRG on Electabuzz and Thunderpunch with tails. Connor then uses...

Super Potion??!! Man, is this kid annoying, or, is this kid annoying!! He adds another Grass NRG and uses Poisonpowder w/tails. I put the Grass NRG on my Scyther and Thunderpunch w/tails. Finally, no more S. Potions or Potions for him. He uses Razor Leaf. I add D.C.E. to Scyther, retreat Electabuzz and Slash. And Scyther took out the rest of his poor, pathedic Pokemon.

Yippee!! Another Tourny win for me! For some odd reason, Trevor didn't come in second. After I battled him I looked at his score sheet-which said that I was his third loss! I think he only won 2 or 3 out of 5. James came in second. with my $20 I bought Sabrina's Deck. I walked in with $5, came out with a deck. Pretty good. Now, the Props and Slops!
