Its been about two years since I have played

Hopefully this deck will do good going to my
first tournament in two years. Here's how the tournament went:
Round 1 vs. Adam (Blazing Fire)
I thought that my deck was going to be no good.
I didn't think I would win. When I played Adam he had out a Pidgeotto
and I had out my Blaine's Arcanine. I did Firestorm and won the game.
He ran out of Basic.
1-0
Round 2 vs. Eric (Haymaker)
This is a slaughterhouse match. Eric beat
the crap out of me. I don't even want to talk about it.
1-1
Round 3 vs. Jason (Wigglymaker)
Jason went first. He had a jigglypuff out
and two more on his bench. I had Blaine's Growlithe out. He laid
down a DEC on jiggly and did 20 damage to me. On my turn I had pulled a
blaines arcanine, so i attached to growlithe, laid down my 2 charmanders, and
used stoke to finish. Again the same was done by Jason. I was all
prepared for this turn because I had a Blaine trainer. I used it and
evolved into the Arcanine. I did 40 to him. On his turn he laid
down 2 more basic and used oak for a brand new hand. To finish he did
20. With 2o left I used 40 again to knock him out. The long
lasting game continued for another 12 minutes until it finally started to heat
up. With my Blaine's Arcanine out I was killing victim after victim.
I had 2 prizes left and he had 3. Then trouble started. He had a
wiggly all ready to destroy my candy A**!!! Sadly, Jason had beaten me
by 2 prizes.
1-2
Well, I knew that I wouldn't do so great.
I guess I'll have to improve my strategy come next Saturday.
