Hey all! I just rebuilt my Potpourri deck into this Lapras Haymaker which does pretty well. This was the funnest tourney ever. We used a map and traveled on it to challenge oppenents instead of the match setup. We battled for 1hr and 30min. This is how you moved. If you have a deck with all basics with a free retreat, you could move 5 spaces. If you had 1 basic with a retreat of 1, you could move 4 spaces. If one of your basics had a retreat of 2, you could only move 3 spaces. If you had a basic retreat of 3 or 4 (I kinda felt sorry for the people with Lickitungs), you could only move 2 spaces. I had Lapras and Buzz, so I could only move 3 spaces. We all started at the ends of the maps. We could challenge anyone if three ways: A 1 on 1 battle, a 1 on 1 on 1 battle, or a Team Battle. If you were 3 spaces away from an oppenent, you could join each yourselfs and battle each other. If the two that were fighting just started, you could join in a 3 way. If you see a 3 way, and you are about 3 spaces away, you could join into a Team Battle. You got extra points in the center of the map. Oh yeah, I forgot the point system. You get: 5 Points for winning by prizes, 4 Points for winning with no basics, 3 Points for decking, and 2 Points for losing. Well, enough talking, on with the report (But first I got to tell you the deck! ^_^)!!!

Okay, here is the strategy. First you want to deal a lot of damage to your oppenent. Use your Wigglytuff or maybe Ditto to do that. Next, you can deal status effects. Thats where everyone can do this except for Scyther. And lastly, deal good damage fast. They all come in this category with the exception of Ditto in some cases. Now, on with the report:

3 Way Battle: Michael with Raindance and a kid nicknamed Squirtle with an all Fighting deck.

Okay this was fast. On a 3 way battle, you cut your deck and see who has the lowest letter closest to "A" (For example, I got an Electabuzz, so I go first. Squirtle got a E for Energy so he went second. Michael got a Wartortle I think so he went last). I started with Scyther and Jiggly on bench, Squirtle had a Geodude as active, Mankey and Sandshrew on bench, and Michael had only a Squirtle. I went first and added an energy and passed. Squirtle did the same. Michael Bubbled me for Paralyze. I added another enegy and passed. Squirtle Stone Barraged me for 0 damage due to restistance. Squirtle Bubbled me for no paralyze. I slashed Squirtle. Squirtle thought that Squirtle had another basic and retreated for a Machoke and Karate choped me for 20. Squirtle Paralyzed me. Fortunatly I drew a Bill and got a DCE and a Switch and killed Squirtle! I win!!! 5 Points

Team Battle: Squirtle and Ashley vs Moltres (Ben) and Me

Okay whis was another easy game. We won the flip and I decided to go first. I opened with Scyther and Lapras. Ben had Growlithe. Ashley and Squirtle both had Machop and Geodude with Squirtle having Mankey. I kept using my resistance to my advantage. Scyther ended up Slashing up a victory for Ben and me. 10 points

1 on 1 Battle: Michael

Ahhhhh!!! I only had a Scyther and he had 2 Articuno and a Squirtle. I never got hit by an Articuno, but the Squirtle kept on paralyzing me until Wartortle came out and killed Scyther. 13 points (Note: I was in the middle of the map, so I got 1 extra point)

1 on 1 Battle: ??? (Sorry I forgot his name! ^_^)

I forgot this game. The whole game. All I remember is that I killed his ??? with a Scyther, followed by retreating for Buzz and a heads flip for a kill. Sorry!!! 18 points

1 on 1 Battle: ??? (Forgot his name also! Sorry!!! ^_^) with 3 colors

Okay, this game was a little tougher. I got out a Lapras. He had Kangaskahn with Fossil Magmar, Pinsir, and Pidgey. I went first and got a Buzz. I kept on going until I got a gust. I killed Kangaskahn and he sent up Pinsir. Pinsir got annoying with Iron Grip. I got a switch and put in Scyther and Slashed. I did not get paralyzed. I retreat for Lapras and killed Pinsir. He gusted in Ditto when he had out Fossil Magmar and poisoned me. I Scooped him up and sent out Lapras. I gave him 60. He retreated for Pideot. I got Wing Attacked. I switched for Ditto and Hurricaned Pidgeot back in his hand. He put down Pidgey and attacked with Magmar. I was Smokescreened. I Gusted in Pidgey and retreated for Scyther. I slashed. He evolved and used Whirlwind. I put in Ditto and retreated. I killed Pidgeotto and was on my last prize. He killed me and I sent in Lapras. It was game. 23 Points

Semi-Finals: ??? (So, so, so, so, so, sorry!!!)

I think I'm suffering from amnesia! I know that I won with Wigglytuff. Thats all. Sorry!!!

Finals: ??? ( I'm really sorry!) With Damage Swap

Now this was weird. He ALWAYS got out Alakazam on turn 2. He had a Fighting Deck with Alakazam. I Got out Scyther and Ditto and Jigglypuff on bench. He had Hitmonchan and Abra. Abra evolved and oaked for Chansey. Gusted and killed Ditto and when I got out Tuff, he killed it too. After a while, I ended up losing because: 1. Not that many basics (He got all of his prizes. He didn't win by basics.) 2. ALAKAZAM!!! 3. Kangaskhan 4. Hitmonlee doing his Strech Kick. Oh well. I would of won if I did not make 1 mistake: Item Find for a SER instead of a Gust. I did have fun and thats all that matters.

So I didn't win. Thats okay. I got a lot of stamps (We just started the Pokemon League down here!) and made it about 13 stamps from my Cascade Badge. Anyway, here's the Props and Slops!!!
