Hey Pojo! I'm Scott, a frequent visitor of your site! This is my killer
deck. I won a small tourney in September with it at Pokemon league at
Northlake Mall, Atlanta GA. It actually took two sessions to complete the
tournament.
Unfortunately, I don't know most of the names of the players I fought
because they didn't tell me. This tournament happened a while ago, so I'll
try to remember everything. Here's my deck!
Pokemon: 21
3x Mewtwo
3x Zapdos
2x Alakazam
3x Kadabra
4x Abra
2x Raichu
3x Pikachu (PROMO)
1x Electabuzz
Trainers: 13
2x Computer Search
4x Prof. Oak
3x Super Potions
2x Potions
2x Gust of Wind
Energy: 26
14x Psycic Energy
12x Electric Energy
Round 1: I faced a little kid who had just started playing.
There isn't much to say. He used a fighting deck. I brought out Mewtwo and
destroyed!
Round 2: What are the odds? I faced my brother Matt, who had won his first
battle too. He used a Moltres stall deck...(gulp). He sent out Moltres
first. I quickly sent out my Pikachu and "Growled" to reduce damage.
He
attached an energy to Moltres. I paralyzed for a while until he sent out a
SANDSHREW! A Sandshrew of all things! Just what I needed, a resistance to
electricity. Then finally we each had one prize left. My Zapdos vs. his
Sandshrew. I thundered for 30 damage and did 30 damage to Zapdos. He sand
attacked three times and on my turn I could attack. It was all up to the
coin flip...Heads I win, tails a draw. I flipped the coin... then to my
luck it was heads!
Round 3: I faced a kid who ran the new "Fossil" grass pokemon.
Mewtwo and Golbat, Nidoran M. and F. dont mix. I'll I had to do was win one
more battle.
Then time ran out and our Gym Leader said we had to continue the tourney
next weekend.
One week passed and I was back.
Round 4: Our Gym Leader was deciding who to pair me up with. Then to my
amazment, he told me play the same kid from round 3!
Same matter, except he sent out a Venusaur. My Alakazam did 60 damage to it
earlier. Then he KOed Alakazam, so I sent out my fully powered Mewtwo and
used "Psycic" for the win.
My record was 4-0.
I hope you enjoyed reading my deck! Thanx!
