Hey yo, whats up Scott and all ya guys at the Pojo? I just made a new
Raindance and flet like testing it out at this new place. I think it is
a great Raindance but might not be the best Raindance. Also, more than 2
Blastoise is way to much. I asked 12 of my friends and 7 of them said
that 2 Blastoise is perfect for Raindance. 3 said that 3 is perfect. The
last 2 said that 1 Blastoise all you need. Anyway, here's my deck:

Umm... Whats the strategy of Raindance? Oh yeah, to lay down energy on
the people you need and deal damage fast. Speed kills. Lapras is da bomb
since he can attack for 10 first turn, 10 for a chance of confusion or
20, and 30 every other turn after that. I don't like Articuno that much,
but it still does the job. Chansey helps with weakness just in case your
fighting a lightning deck. But whats this??? Not very many (or at least
of the Raindances that I've seen) Plus Powers are in this deck. If you
decide to attack with Blastoise and want to kill that Buzz for the
Weakness, Plus Power can do it for you. I lost a few tourneys caused by
a Plus Power. I don't like playing Raindance but only with my new deck
that can take Raindance (Pretty much the same as my Potpourri but now
down to 2 colors). Whoops!!! Need to get on with the report! Well, let's
get on with the show (or the report).
Game One: Ben with Fire
Too bad. Only Chance is for a Chansey. But too bad. I start with Lapras
with Articuno on bench. He starts with a Ditto. I flip and he calls
heads. Finally my flipping streak ends. He goes first. He attaches an
energy and Water Guns. I draw a Gambler and use it (since I had a
VEEERRRRYY bad hand) to draw 8 cards!!! And after that I Bill for a Poke
Breeder and I think an energy. Wow! I had him screwed up because I had
Squirtle on bench and a Blastoise in my hand also! I Water Gunned for
10. He lays Moltres down and fails to confuse me. I get out Blastoise,
Bill, Switch for Blastoise, Raindance 5 energies on Blastoise and Plus
Power and kill him (since he's not Blastoise until it's his turn). I win
due to no basics. Win: 1 Lose: 0
Game Two: (Sorry, forgot his name) with Lightning (AHHHHH!!! This
sucks!!!)
Okay, I have to be careful with this. Luckily I win the flip and start
out with Chansey on bench and Articuno active. He only has a Buzz. I lay
energy on Chansey and pass. He Plus Powers for 30 (he had 2) and
paralyzes. I add energy on Chansey and pass. He tries to kill but takes
10 damage. I lay energy and a Bill to get a Lapras and an Energy I
think. He kills me next turn with Pika on his bench. I kill Buzz with
Double edge. I kill Pikachu and myself, but I still have a benched
Pokemon and he didn't so I win!!! Win: 2 Lose: 0
Game Three: Rachel (still my Girlfriend) with her own type of Potpourri
similar to mine, that would of done really good if it didn't go against
Articuno and another Raindance
Ohh... Fossil Magmar is gonna hurt here. Okay, so Buzz can do a lot of
stuff and can hurt but again can't do much to Articuno. This is where
she wins the flip and puts in Buzz as active and Scyther, Magmar, and
Fossil on bench. I start with Chansey as active and Lapras on bench. She
attaches a fire energy on Buzz and passes. I add water to Chansey. She
ends up switching for an Areodactyl (Thats what the Fossil was for) and
puts down a Mew!!! Areodactyl took half of my life off so I kill both of
us. I sent in Wartortle and Evolve into Blastoise, and Plus Power and
Kill the Buzz (after I take 60 damage!!!). Magmar Poisons me, be I
retreat switch out Blastoise for Articuno and Bill for a water and Oak.
I Raindance an energy on Articuno, able for it to use Blizzard, and Oak.
I get a great hand: 1 Gust, 1 Plus Power, 1 Articuno, 4 Water energies.
I get my other Articuno ready for Bilzzard and kill Mew (after a gust).
After a battle with my Articuno's and killing my Blastoise, I eventually
win. She doesn't make it to the Finals though. Win: 3 Lose:
0
Quarter Finals: Nobody I had the best record, so I got a bye!!! Win: 4
Lose: 0
Semi-Finals: Trey with a really cool Psy-Fire deck
This was fun!!! He started with Charmander as active and Dratini,
Growlithe, and Abra on bench. I had lost the flip (all the flips today
that I lost was because I had to flip) and I flip over Lapras as active
with Articuno on bench. He scratches. I water gun. He Evolves and
attaches DCE and gives me 30. I Draw a Bill and get Blastoise and Bill
and from that Bill I get Oak and Breeder. I used my Computer Search from
my opening hand to get Squirtle. I confuse him and he has 40 left. He
kills me with a Flamethrower. I put in Articuno and get out Blastoise. I
Raindanced all the energy and Oaked. Got almost an all energy hand. I
got a Chansey and added an energy on him. I killed everyone from there
on. He ened up getting Dragonair, but I Bille for Plus Power and
Computer Search and Searched for another Search. I ended up getting all
my prizes by killing his last Pokemon: Charizard. Win: 5 Lose: 0
Finals: Tom with a Haymaker
Okay, this was not good. I win the flip and put out two Squirtles.
Fortunatly I had a Wartortle and a Bill. I got an Articuno, Breeder, and
Blastoise! Oh yeah, he started with Scyther. I lost my first Squirtle by
Scyther but Articuno took care of his only basic. Win: 6 Lose: 0
Well that tourney was fun! I ended up winning the prize from the first
tourney from this place. I got the NEO Nine Set, a Japanese Pack from
every set (They even said that I would get a NEO pack when they get
them), and a...... Drumroll please..... **Drumroll**.......... One 1st
edition Basic Pack!!!!! To bad for the people that didn't know about
this place! Out of the Japanese Packs, I got (In order in when the sets
came out) a Raichu, Flareon, Mew (Not lying! I was surprized when I got
it!), Bad Charizard (Sweet!!! I got good Packs!!!), Erika's Dragonair,
Resistance Lowering Gym, Lt. Surge's Raichu, and Non-Energy Removal Gym.
Out of the 1st edition basic pack, I got a..................... 1st
edtion................. Alakazam!!! Were those good packs or what???
Well, anyway, my Moltres Wildfire Deck will not be posted because I
forgot the tourney. Oh well.

Soooo..... I guess I'll talk to ya guys later. I'll write another one
