today i went to a tournament at one million comix. it was olathe, kansas, the
date, februray 5. i couldn't believe how many people had shown up before the
tournament even started, a whole 1 and a half hours away! by the time it had
started, there were around 45 people. usually there are only 25 or 30, so it
was a suprise to everyone. i piad my 3 bucks and the tournament started.

first round- By (boring!!)
second round- BY!!! (ARGGGGG!!!)
third round- me vs fire and water deck
    very easy game. we both started out without basic, then i got gengar,
haunter, eggsacute, and porygon. i put down porygon first since i had a dce
in my hand. i go first, i play poketrader, get ghastly, put him on bench.
attack dce to porygon, change porygons resistance to fire (he had a
charmander) after a while, he i switched my porygon with my gengar, did 60 to
his charmenleon ( i changed charmeleons weakness with porygons attack) and 10
to his magikarp. next turn, he does 30 to my gengar, evolves his magikarp. my
turn, i kill his charmeleon, do 10 to gyarados. i get a prize, energy. he
goes, attaches no energy to gyarados and says thats game. i cant win. i say
ok.

forth round - me vs phycic
    this round sucks for the other guy. he has one pokemon, ghastly. i have
an eggsocute and a drowsee. eggsocute is first because i have an eggsocutor
in my hand. he goes first, no pokemon, tries to put me to sleep. yep. then
its my turn, i wake up. i attach a dce to eggsacute, his turn. i awake. he
goes again, no pokemon.  tries to put me asleep, nope. then i go, evolve my
eggsocute, and flip two coins. both heads, i win.

fifth round - semifinals - me vs fire water
    this time i get the bad luck. i only have ghastly (uh oh, sound
familiar?) nothign else but energy. he goes first, he has syther out. he
retreats, puts magmar out. attaches two plus powers and kills me. Game
2-1, im out
