Hello there Pojoholics!  My deck us called As Seen On TV becuase everything good is(except the rip off deals on the HSN pokemon cards) This is a deck that I am sure everyone has tryed but I figured I would mess around with it.  I did throw on a twist when I recieved a Sabrina Jappanese deck for christmas and discovered the best card... Sabrina's Kadabra!!  For 1 Psy you do a whopping up to 110 dammage depending on what their HP is.

The Tournament was held at Allison's Sports Cards and Collectables on Saturday 12, 2000.  The Tournament was standard Swiss format(4 points for sweep and 1 point for other victories ex: 2-1=2points and 2-0=4 points), Best two out of three, and top four scores goto the semi-finals.

Round 1: Me Vs. Little Joey w/ Mono Fire deck

Game 1: The game started off with me having a Scyther, Abra(50hp), Kadabra(Sabrina), DBL Colorless, grass, and Psychic(BooYA!!).  I win flip and play Scyther against a magmar(fossil). I lay grass and swords dance. he lays an energy and does 10(20).  I lay a double colorless and slash for 60. He again attacks for 10(20).  I slash for 30 and kill. He puts forward Charmander.  I  Retreat and use Sab Kadabra and drain him to 10.  He lets me go and I attack for 30.  WIN!!!

Game 2: This was even easier than last time.  I lay Promo mewtwo and a psy, I then use computer search with two psy energy for scyther.  I use energy absorbtion and say go.  He attaches an energy to his Vulpix and say go.  My turn I play a DBL colerless on Scyther and then I psyburn with mewtwo for 40.  He attaches another fire energy and attacks for 10(no confusion).  I use Psyburn!  GAME!!!

Round 2 Me(Poody) Vs. Adam? w/ rainbow deck w/o energy.

Game 1:  I play a Chansey with a abra(30hp) on the bench, I use dbl colorless and scrunch heads.  He has a full bench with vulpix, Zubat, Pikachu, Oddish, Jigglypuff, and Mewtwo as active.  I had to explain what energy did(he thought move requirments were turn based).  The game goes on a long time and I win.

Game 2:  I let him use my Rain Dance deck.  I lay a promo mewtwo and an energy I use computer search for chansey and then do energy absorbtion for the 2 energy.  He puts a water energy on magikarp and tackles for 10.  I then do Psyburn and win!

Sidenote:  I hate when I don't have a challenge(note the fodder rankings for opponents.)

Round 3 Poody Vs. 20 something guy w/kid

Game 1:  This guy kept on telling his kid how to play and saying to him that I would lose =).  I go first with a chansey and a benched abra (50hp).  I lay a double colorless and scrunch.  Kid/guy lays an electabuzz and fails on the attack.  I lay a grass energy and scrunch again.  He uses thunderpunch for 30(10 to him) and I go.  I lay a psy and double edge. Win!

Game 2:  The guy was looking at the kids prizes and telling him which to take.  I ask the judge and he says thats cheating.  Game!!!!

Round 4: Poody Vs. Rival Dave w/ Psy and a spash of grass

Game 1:  Talk about bad luck me with Scyther against him with 1 slowpoke.  He goes first and can't attack(no spacing out w/o damage).  I lay a grass and swords dance.  Hey then evolves to slowbro.  I use slash for 60.  Win!

Game 2:  Now its my turn for the bad luck.  I have a 30hp abra against his Scyther.  I psyshock for 10(paralysis).  Now he adds a psy energy and says go.  I psyshock again(no para).  He attaches dbl colorless and slashes for win.

Game 3:  I have promo mewtwo against base ghastly.  I attach an energy and use computer search for computer search(wasting energy is fun =) ).  I use energy absorbtion.  He uses Sleeping gas and works.  I wake up and use psyburn.  Game!!

Game 1: I have a Scyther a chansey and 2 abras (50hp).  He lays 3 bulbasaurs, ditto, and a bulasaur as actuve.  I go first and retreat scyther and use quick attack for 30.  he attaches energy and tells me to go.  I use quick attack and kill.  He puts out ditto and plays another bulbasaur(#5 if counting)  I tell the judge and he is disqualified.

Game 1:  I have abra(40hp) against an electabuzz.  He knocks out abra on second turn for win

Game 2:  I have Promo Mewtwo against hitmonchan.  I lay an energy and use computer search. then do energy absorbtion. he uses Jab for 20.  My turn I Psyburn for 80. Win!

Game 3:  Its my scyter and abra(30hp) against Mr. Mime.  he attaches and energy.  I retreat scy and use abra for 20 w/ paralisys.  He can't attack.  I attack for 20.  GAME!!!

For the Tourney I got $25 store credit.
