Pokemon League Finals: The Final Showdown
Boy, this just gets better and better.  This is my last match so I better
make this one count. I was pretty surprised that KJ made it this far, though
'cuz I could name a few better trainers around here. Anyway, here's how it
went.

The Big Finale: Gym Leader KJ w/Grass and Fight
His Kangaskhan,Snorlax, and Hitmonlee fell quickly against Scyther's
quickness (thanx to DBC).  Then another Hitmonlee comes in and sweeps Scyther
aside but I've another one pumped and ready. His potions helped delay the
kickin' demon's death, as did a well-played ER on my DBC.  Unfortunately for
him I had another DBC in my hand so I slashed away. His Machop almost got my
'Buzz with a gust, but I itemfindered for a scoop up to save him.  Then his
Scythers start slashing down on me so I switched to Magmars and that helped
me clean up the remainder of the bench. Game, set, match.

Normal battles
Well, I'm glad that's over. Now, onward to my other deck. The strategy is
like what it's always been: Use stalling basics like Magmar,Grimer, and
Koffing and knock out at least 3 pokemon.  Then bring out Arcanine and take
everything else down!!  Simple enough.
Match 1-Steven w/Water and Fight
Well, for some apparent reason I'm startin' to see alot more fighting
decks. Anyway, Steve's another li'l guy that didn't do much.  I saw some
water energy but I don't remember any water pokemon.  Well, Scyther made it
all different as I easily slashed down on his Machops, Rhyhorns and such.
Then came geodude but y'all know what happened then.  He loses to empty bench
defeat.
Match 2-Timmy w/Fire and Fight
I just helped this kid and his father right before the tourney match and
taught the kid how t'play.  He's learned the basics, but still doesn't have
much of a chance. Fortunately, he has a very respectable amount of good
trainers, even a Comp Search and Pokemon Trader, as well as a Hitmonchan.  I
went easy on him at first, taking out a base magmar and machop, but he wuz
kinda takin' a li'l bit too long to play trainers.  So I stopped being Mr.
Nice Hamsta and brought all of his Charmanders,Growlithes, and machops down
with Arcanine.

Da Hamsta's Final Note
For the tourney, I acquired 60 pts for winning, and an additional 20 for
defeating KJ in the match. I also traded a bit to help me get to my Rainbow
Badge more quickly (yeah, I've 3 badges, but I don't have any TMs).  I didn't
buy any boosters 'cuz Toys R Us is still out of stock and has only those
second-rate precons.  Well, dat's the bottom line 'cuz Da Hamsta said so!!!
