    Another somewhat easy week at Zainy Brainy.  I came wearing my Pokemon t-shirt and caring around my 1 inch plastic Psyduck for good luck.  I just came from my friend's Pokemon League he runs at his house.  It's pretty fun and I went undefeated there with cards and Game Boy.  I was feeling confident and ready to play more Pokemon!  My friend's Josh (he my friend that runs his own league) and Chris came with me.
    Well, I changed the deck around again and I'm trying to get more Movie Mewtwo to see how he works out in the deck since I needed more Psychic offense.  That's pretty much it for my changes.  Here's the report:

Round 1 vs Chris R. with Nidoking Deck
Chris is my best friend.  His Nidoking deck is really good, but I overcome it most of the time.  Toxic can get really annoying! I draw my hand and boy is it horrible!  I get 1 Magmar, 1 Psychic, 1 Bill, 1 GOW, and 3 Electric energy.  Luckily I win the toss.  I start Magmar and him Nidoran (M).  I draw a Scyther, bench it, Bill for energy, and give Scyther an electric.  Chris does a Bill, gives Nidoran an energy, and does Horn Hazard with tails.  I draw a 2nd Scyther, bench it, and give a D.C. to the first one.  Then Chris Pokebreeded to Nidoking, does Gambler with heads, and benches Chansey and Venonat.  I draw a Oak and use it.  I get lots of goodies!  First I S.E.R Nidoking, give a fire to Magmar, and Smokescreen.  Chris evolved the Venonat on his bench and said go.  I Smokescreened again.  Chris used Switch on Nidoking and put Chansey out to stall. I bench 'Buzz, give him an energy, and Smokescreen. Chris then brought Nidoking back and did Toxic to Magmar.  I do Gambler and get tails so I retreat Magmar for Scyther.  That was useless.  He just Gusted out Magmar for a prize.  I S.E.R. 'King and Slash him with Scyther.  Chris gives 'King a D.C. and does Thrash with heads.  I just did Slash.  He does Gambler with tails and Thrashes Scyther for his second prize.  I bring out good old' Electabuzz and Thunderpunch Nidoking into the discard pile.  Chris then brought out Venemoth and did Venom Powder with heads.  I do Thunder punch and luckily get two heads for 40.  Chris then did Venom Powder again and I'm down to 10.  I try to do Thunderpunch and it works so I KO Venemoth, but I also faint from poison.  Chris then brought Chansey out to stall.  I slashed it with Scyther until it had 30 HP left and Chris did Scoop Up on Chansey!  I hate it when that happens.  I eventually beat that Chansey and another Venemoth to even prizes up at 2-2.  Chris eventually had 2 Scyther on the bench each with 30 damage.  I did a Gambler with heads and got everything I needed to get my last 2 prizes.  First I Gusted out one Scyther and did a Thunderpunch for 40 with Electabuzz.  Next turn I Scoop Uped 'Buzz and put Mr. Mime out.  I then gusted the other Scyther out and did Meditate for the win.  That was a close one!  Good game Chris!  8-)

Round 2 vs Alexia with a Rainbow Deck
This girl is a newbie at the game and didn't know how to make a good deck.  I started out with Scyther and Magmar on the bench.  I lost the toss.  She starts with Tangela with 2 Cubone and a Ponyta on the bench.  She didn't have any energy so it was my turn.  I retreated Scyther, gave a fire to Magmar, and Smokescreened.  She just benched a Slowpoke and passed.  I gave another fire to Magmar and did Smog for a prize.  She sent out Cubone and passed.  I did Smog again with poison.  She passes and Cubone faints.  She promoted Horsea seeing my weakness, but I benched a 'Buzz I just drew, retreated, gave an electric to 'Buzz, and Thundershocked with paralyzation.  She evovled into Seadra and passed.  I did Thunderpunch for another prize.  I then continue to Thunderpunch a Ponyta and Smog a Cubone and Mankey for the win.  Easy game.

Record 2-0

    I only got to play two people so I tried to make the report long.  Everyone else was starting a new game when I finished my first game, because it took so long.  I got 60 points on the day.  It's not really fair though, I am much better than everyone else and they get twice the points I get.  Oh well, I had fun and that's what matters.  I'm still undefeated here with my deck.  I was going to buy a booster, but they raised the price to $4.99 so I waited.  The Gym Leader gave me another Promo Pikachu (my third) and some lady at the check-out gave me 2 more Mews.  I get like 2 more every week.  They must have a whole other box filled with them.  I think I have like 8 Mews now not counting my brother and sister's. At least they're good for trading.  Time for Props and Slops!
