Hey pojo. recently i have been participating in a DCI Tourny at Borders Books
in Lake Grove, NY. Just last thursday i won my boulderbadge. I will tell you
my deck and then last thursday's tourney report.

Pokemon 22
4 Poliwag (in to evolve thirty from water gun helps though)
3 Poliwhirl (in to evolve amnesia kills on one attack pokemon like blastoise)
2 Poliwrath (water gun can do 50 which helps to kill 100 hp pokemon in two
shots. bust main reason is whirlpool does forty removes an energy great pkmn)

4 Dratini (stinks, horrible, only good use is a mime killer)
3 Dragonair (hyper beam does 20 removes an energy and slam can do possible
60. great pkmn)

4 Scyther (fabulous pokemon easy to load, easy to retreat, resistance to
fighting)

2 Chansey (stall, stall, stall)

Tainers 15
4 Energy Removals (can't have a removal deck without these)
4 Super Energy Removals (see above and control your opponent's energy)
3 Pokemon Traders (get out any pokemon you need Poliwrath, Dragonair etc.
2 Professor Oaks (need to get cards out just don't deck yourself)
2 Computer Searches (get out usually professor oak or anything you need)

Energy 23
19 water energy (seems slim but i always have plenty plus u can oak to get
more)
4 double colorless (need this because 1 pokemon of every chain takes it
Poliwrath Scyther Chansey Dratini Dragonair)

My deck strategy is to remove the opponents pokemon's energy and totally take
the opponent out of the game. Poliwrath, Dragonair, energy removal, and super
energy removal do this for me. Chansey is to stall because believe me you
either want the game to go really fast or really slow. What does that mean?
Well, if you get a Scyther and a double colorless with a couple of other cads
energy, etc., you want it to go fast get a Chansey lay back take a little
rest and when Chansey gets 110 on him bring up a fully energized Poliwrath
Dragonair Scyther or even another Chansey. Scyther is great for the beginning
of the game and helps out by getting some damage on the opponent settiting up
the bigger badder boys like Poliwrath and Dragonair.

Game 1 Vs George with fighting
first hand: Chansey Scyther Poliwag 2 double colorless 2 water energy
put up Chansey left Poliwag Scyther on my bench. He had a hitmonlee. i went
first. I picked up super energy removal. loaded one water energy under
Chansey and said he could go. He loaded his hitmonlee and said i could go. I
picked up a water energy placed a double colorless under Chansey scrunched
heads it didn't matter though. He picked up loaded fighting energy under
hitmonlee put down a hitmonchan and stretched kicked Poliwag. My turn pick up
a Poliwhirl placed it down and played water energy under Chansey for the
kill. He brought up hitmonchan loaded one and forgot to attack! I double
edged he had no pokemon I win

Game two Vs Bo with five color deck
heypojo this games two funny to write-up he played five energy type of deck i
got out Dragonair on second turn with two double colorless because i searched
it out just started to remove energy. He was helpless. he couldn't pick up
the right energy and when he did i removed felt sorry for the kid gave him a
pikachu and offered help on his deck

Game three vs my friend Justin with a rain dance (great competition)
I got worried when i drew only a chansey two pokemon traders 1 double
colorless 1 computer search and two water energy. He busted out a chansey
plus had a squirtle and a horsea on bench. I went first i picked up scyther
ad i was loving it i played it down double colorless him up and said he could
go he picked up loaded chansey i go. I picked up and played another scyther
and put an energy under the double colorless loaded scyther he could go. he
picked up oaked in a gyarados and some other cards (i forgot) got a breeder
played a blastoise and played four energy under him. Retreated chansey
brought up blastoise and hydro pump for 50. I pick up go a super removal
played it down and discarded a water energy he goes. helples
stoise next turn i retreated chansey and brought up scyther slash slash slash
slash in four turns finally i got stoise out. He brought up loaded horsea
missed a smokescreen and oh yeah i had and oak picked up a poliwhirl oaked in
a beautiful hand to get poliwrath got it retreated for zero and whirlpool
game over.
Record 3-0

Game four vs George again with the stupid hitmonlee's
this time it was poliwrath a long drawn out game and all i did all game was
whirlpool because i had poliwrath out and loaded on the fifth turn with 2
water and again another important double colorless. He kept on having basics
hitmonchan hitmonee aerodactyl you name it i beat them all and i was happy

5th match vs ??? with scyther pinsir clefable and muk

poliwrath saves the day he removes all the energy the energy and left his
bench dry with a combo of poliwrath energy removal and a super energy removal
plus busted out dragonair cause i got guillotined (finally) and just killed
pinsir with slam for last prize

one more time vs ??? with the scyther pinsir clefable muc

he got out scyther i loaded two double colorless under chansey and double
edged game over
Final record 6-0

One a badge from combo of 10  last week wins teaching kids how to play and
trading. thanx all
