This deck I made is called Venasuar's Resurrection. It is a mono grass
deck. With this deck I've only lost a few times, that's when I just
constructed it, it took me sometime to get fimiliar with it.

Here's the Tournament Report!
It was held at a local comic book store, the prize, 5 1st Edition
Boosters and 5 regular basic boosters.
Some people who worked at the store made up this tourney, the made it so
you wolud have to face all the gym leaders, if you could succeed you
would go to a spot in the store known as the Indigo Stadium where you
would battle other people in a regular tourney, the gym leaders are
there to stop you, if you didn't beat a gym leader your out!!! When
your at the stadium it's single elimination!!
First Round
ME vs Brock(he has a deck with just geodudes and onixes)
I drew a nidoran and some grass energy, he got a geodude, I won the
flip, I slapped down a grass, horn hazard, heads, 60! geodude's dead, I
win a boulder badge, it was a little gray badge just like in the show,
cool!!
Second Round
ME vs Misty(she had a deck with only staryus and starmies)
I drew a bulbasuar, venasuar, poke breeder, nidoranM, nidorino, 1 grass,
and a bill. she got a staryu. I went first, I put nidoran out and
benched bulbasuar. I used my bill, i drew a bill and a energy removal.
I used bill again, i drew 2 grass energy. I attatched one to bulbasuar,
misty's turn. all she did was attatched a dbl. colorless on staryu, my
turn. I evolved bulbasuar and attatched a energy to nidoranM. Then I
used horn hazard, tails! Misty goes, she evolves staryu, that's all. my
turn. I attatch a energy to nidoran, energy remove misty, horn hazard,
tails! She attatched a water energy to starmie, my turn. I attactch
a
grass to venasuar. horn hazard, tails..... She attatches a water energy
to starmie, my turn. I attatch a grass to venasuar, I use venasuar's
pokemon power, take one of nidoran's energy, retreat nidoran, put out
venasuar, solar beam! thats game. I get a cool new Cascade badge!!
Third Round
ME vs Lt. Surge(he has a deck with pikachus, riachus, and voltorb)
I drew a nidoranM and some grass energy, he get a voltorb, I win the
toss, attatch a grass, horn hazard, heads!! Lt.'s turn, he has nothing
he can do. My turn, horn hazard, heads!!!! I win. and i also
got this
cool new Thunder badge!!
Fourth Round
ME vs Erika( she has a deck with Bellspourts, Weepinbells, Victreebel,
Tangleas, Oddish, Gloom and Vileplume)
I drew a Caterpie, she a bellspourt. I go first, lay a grass down,
string shot, I paralyzed it. She passes, I paralyze her pokemon again,
i keep on doing this until bellsprout dies!! No benched pokemon, I
win!!! and you kow I get a Rainbow badge!!!
Fifth Round
ME vs Sabrina(she has a deck with abras, kadabras, alakazam, venonat,
venomoth, and mr. mime)
It starts out me and sabrina trade blows until about 15 minutes in to
the battle, I have a nice charged venasuar, but she but in a mr. mime, I
G.O.W. in abra and kill it.(sorry, I would tell you more about this
match and the up coming matches but this is getting totaly boring I'm
writing this at 10:00 PM)
I get a Marsh badge.
Sixth Round
ME vs Koga( his deck has koffings, weezings, grimers, and muks)
For this match I whip out a cheapo psycihc deck with alakazams and that
stuff.
20 minutes into the battle I'm put up to a koffing with a abra. I go
psyshock 20 I paralyze him I do this three times, koffing dies, I get my
last prize!!!! I get a Soul badge!!
Seventh Round
Me vs Blaine(He has a deck with ponytas, rapidash, growlithe, and
arcanine)
This is a toughy, 1/2 almost into the game I bring out my
nidoking(remember tihs is japanese)against a rapidash, I use rolling
attack, does 40 plus I get a heads, additional 30, rapidash dies, I get
a Volcano badge!!!
Eighth Round
Me vs GIOVANNI!!!!(he has a deck with both nidoran's families, they cut
this deck short, he should also have ryhorns and some other stuff)
I use my psychic deck for this one, this was a long battle bout 40
minutes in alakazam is put up to nidoking, I use confuse ray 60, heads
he's confused, he hurts himself on his turn, my turn I finish him
off!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES, the EARTH badge!!!
Only 4 people made it, so I fought with one person while the other to
fought! the winners of the two matches would face each other for the
GOLD!!
Ninth Round
Me vs Eli(he has a gound deck, how easy!)
About 25 minutes in I have a butterfree vs a onix, I go, megadrain, 80
to onix and I take 2 damage counters, but butterfree still has 40 on
him, Eli goes, lays two plus powers on onix, rock throw, 30!! But
butterfree can't die all I have left is a caterpie with no damage on
him, and no energy!!! I also have no grass in my hand either, I put
caterpie out like a good sport, draw my card, YES!!!!!!! a grass, i
attatch it to caterpie, string shot, I WIN!!!!!!!
Tenth Round(Championship Round)
Me vs ???????
about 1/2 into the match I put out venasuar, attatched two plus powers,
solar beam, 80!!!!!!! Just enough to knock out his ninetales!!!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I walk away with 8 cool badges, 5 1st edition boosters, 5 regular
basic boosters.
Heres what I got out of the 1st editions, I got a blastoise, alakazam,
charizard, eletabuzz, and a dragonair!
Heres what I got out of the regulars, I got a charizard, venasuar,
hitmonchan, zapdos, and a Chansey!!!!
