Six of my friends and I had decided to drive an hour to Waco, Texas and play
some people there. We normally play in killeen and cove, Texas but we needed
some change. We also wanted to play a kid named Andrew something (really bad
on names) who is ranked 8th overall in Texas just 1 place behind my friend.
OK lets get started.

Tournament is 5 rounds top 8 go into finals
22 people showed up.
THESE LISTINGS WERE DONE BY MEMORY SO THEY ARE NOT PRECISE. THE RECORDS ARE
AND THE LISTINGS ARE AS CLOSED AS I COULD REMEMBER.
Round 1
Opponent: a normal kid there  (dont know any names never play here and forgot
to ask)
Ok i won the flip and just started to play normally. He was running like a 5
color deck so i drew prizes quickly. He managed to KO scyther in one hit with
a charmander and pluspower . I oaked a few times and got the cards. I  won.

Round 2
Opponent: again some kid, sorry about names.
I start off with like 5 basic pokemon (the most i have ever had), a lightning
energy and i belive a SER. I start with scyther and notice he is running
raindance. I play my electabuzz and just take over. He manages to get a
blastoise out on me and raindances. He KO electabuzz in two turns. Ouch! I
send out my ditto and super energy removal and energy removal. He has no more
energy and ditto takes over.

Round 3
Opponent: Thomas Cho (someone i reconize and play with in tourneys often, not
one of us though)
This was a very weird game. I start off with a gastly, 3 double colorless, 2 
psychic, and gust of wind. Man he gets blastoise out real quick and starts
pounding. I drew an electabuzz and played it but no energy. So i lick.
Blastoise has about 20 on him now i think and hydro pumps gastly away. I move
electabuzz up and drew my energy. Shock paralized. He goes and its my turn. I
thunderpunch and knock him out. I think i drew a super. No comp search or oak
yet. He oaks like 2  more time totaling 4 oaks!!!! He plays squrtle and i
know he is goin to get out blastoise. i KO another pokemon and drew a ditto.
He plays blastoise and raindances on blastoise. Ouch 60 to buzz. I drew an
energy and played it on ditto. punch 60 to his blastoise. KO my own buzz. I
move ditto as so far i have never had a benched pkoemon at the end of Thomas'
turn. He is afraid and retreats blastoise for a lapras. He starts to water
gun me. Next turn i drew a mime and played it. I used my last energy on it to
confuse ray Lapras.. I get heads. His turn he now retreats lapras and flips a
heads. he moves up ditto which knocks out my ditto and plays DC, He uses
meditate on my mime. I draw a card and its an energy i play it on mime and
meditate.. He retreats ditto for a lapras and confuse rays me. I am now
confused with 30 damage on my  mime and no benched pokemon. That looks like
game. I drew my card and it was an oak. I took the game over from here and
stalled him.

Round 4
Opponent: Jenny Weisbrod Torres (shes one of us)
I am dissapointed that we were matched but i soon relized the at the only 4
who are undefeated were 4 of us. We start to play and i get nothing again.
She ends up knocking out like 3 of my basics and i had nothing but energy in
my hand so i give it to her. She was flipping heads a lot on those
thundershocks too = (

Round 5
Opponent Carlos Sais (one of us too)
It is very hard to get into the finals with only three wins so we both needed
this one. Carlos had not gotton any sleep last night so he was very tired. I
maged to knock out his only basic a Magmar on like turn 3 because of some
pluspowers. Sorry carlos.
RECORD: 4 wins 1 loss 0 ties im not typing ties anymore who gets these in
pokemon?

THE FINALS
I play against my buddy who is ranked like 7th in texas. Mike Pannullo. This
game was very close. The time limit was like 25 minutes and he was winning
most of the game by like 2 prizes. I oaked like twice and got some cards. The
prizes were now  at 3-2. I have like 8 cards left. I have a lot of pokemon
loaded up and he has like 3 scythers and an electabuzz. i had to waste my
last GOW to KO Buzz. We are at 3-1 he then starts to load up a scyther on the
bench. I have nothing in my hand useful so i draw and play energies. I have a
loaded electabuzz and punch. I got a heads. his turn loads up scyther on
bench and scoops up damaged scyther. he plays the scyther and retreats for
it. My turn i drew like an item finder. I save it and load up my bench.
Thunder Punch and another heads. He then scoops up again and has no enrgy. My
turn. I then again thunderpunch the scyther with no ernegy and gets heads
again. His turn he draws and plays an energy on scyther he retreats and
slashes my buzz to death. I was hoping for this. I draw my second to last
card and it was a scyther. I temfinder for the gust and ko his scyther with
my ditto. VERY CLOSE GAME!!

I know play Mark Anders (he too came with us and is rated very high but is
not yet ranked.)
We both start with an electabuzz. I shocked and did not get him. HE removals
and shocks. I draw play energy and shock again.tails. He then shocks and gets
a heads. I draw an oak. I play my ditto and scoop up  electabuzz. I comp
search for a double colorless and play on ditto. I then oak. Play a pluspower
on ditto and oak again. I compsearch for another pluspower and item finder to
oak again.i then itemfinder for comp search and comp search for pluspower. I
now thunderpunch for 60 which knocks him out. I forgot to mention that he had
pokecentered earlier.

I move on to play my other friend John Phillips. He had started out with like
lickitungs and i had electabuzz. This game went by slowly. After licks,
shocks, scoop ups, and muy two oaks, no one has drawn a prize. He then oaks
again and does something. I draw and count everything but his deck and
realize that he has 24 cards. He counted my deck and told me i had 24 cards.
We knew at this point that i had won the game. He had drawn 4 prizes before
he decked himself but they came too late. It was a good game even though i
only drew 2 prizes.

Total record 8 wins and 1 lost
