    I'm using Hot Jalepeno Potpourri again.  I thought I was going to lose my games, but I came out victor.  I just came from a Boy Scout pilgrimage at Valley Forge.  It was boring, cold, and wet.  Chris and Josh came again.  Here's the report:

Round 1 vs Chris R. with Nidoking Deck
I still haven't lost this season at Zainy Brainy, but I've had some close games; most of them against Chris. I drew my hand and it consisted of 1 Scyther, 2 energy, 1 D.C., and 3 trainers.  I win the flip.  Chris has a Venonat and nothing on the bench.  I tried to beat Venonat with Scyther, but he paralyzed me 4 strait turns.  I then used Scoop Up Scyther and put out Magmar.  I Smogged for prize #1.  Chris put out Chansey to stall a while.  I get like 100 damage on Chansey, but Chris did Scoop Up and put Chansey back out thanks to Scyther.  Chris got a Venemoth on the bench so I Gusted it up and did Smog with heads.  Chris did Venom Power with heads.  My retreat succeeded and I put Scyther out to Slash for prize #2.  I then put out Mr. Mime to take care of his last two Scyther and a damaged Chansey.  I win because of no basics.  Good game Chris!  8-)

Round 2 vs Shane D. with Modified Overgrowth
Shane is ok, but is usually an easy win.  Not today!  I draw my hand and get no basics.  I draw again and get 1 Mr. Mime.  I lose the flip.  Great, he has Bulbasaur active with 2 Weedle and 2 Staryu on the bench.  He used Switch, put out Staryu, gave it an energy, and did Slap.  I desperately need a Pokemon and I draw Mewtwo!  He fainted Mr. Mime.  It took me a while to get Mewtwo energized to take out a Staryu for prize #1.  He knocked out Mewtwo with another Staryu and I'm forced to put out my only Pokemon on the bench, Mew.  I still didn't get and Pokemon and had Mew with 20 damage.  Then Electabuzz came to the rescue!  I used Scoop Up on Mew, put out 'Buzz, gave it an electric, and did Thundershock and got heads.  I then continued to Thunder Punch 3 Staryu, 1 Bulbasaur, and 1 Kakuna to the discard pile for the win.  Good game.

Record 2-0

    I traded Chris a Clefable and Pinsir for his 2 Wigglytuffs.  I don't think my deck is fast enough so expect a new deck next week.  I'm 100 points away from getting my Thunder Badge.  Next week is the last week too.  I bought 1 Jungle and 1 Basic pack.  I got a Mewtwo (my second) and a holo Pidgeot (my third).  The cashier gave me 7 Mews.  It looked like there were 3 more boxes of Mews behind the counter.  I counted my Mews and I have 13.  Sorry that my last two reports only had two games; I'll play more with my new faster deck next week.  Time for Props and Slops:
