Hey Pojo, here is a new deck I took to a tournament. I went to Megaplay
videogames in Houston, TX. The deck did good, but cam up short int eh semis.
I got 3rd place. The prize they gave out was pretty bad but I had fun. nice
site Pojo!
"Zapdos' Army"
Pokemon:
4 MP Pikachu
3 Raichu (2 base, 1 Fossil)
4 Zapdos (fossil)
4 Electabuzz

Trainer:
4 Bill
3 Oak
4 Pluspower
4 Gust of Wind
4 Itemfinder
3 Energy Retrieval

23 Electric Energy


This deck made a good showing. I won the first 4 games but was booted out at
the semis. Stupid Fighting decks... It was single elimination, you lose, your
screwed.

Round 1 vs Rain Dance
I love pluspower. It won me the game in this battle. He started Squirtle, I
only had Zapdos. He couldnt find any Pokemon and by that time I had
Electabuzz out and zapdos w/ 3 energy but 40 damage. He evolves w/ breeder to
Blastoise and kills Zapdos. Uh oh. I put Pikachu on the bench. I come out
with Electabuzz to paralyze buit after that he used Hydro Pump+ pluspower to
kill me. Pikachu had 2 energies on him and was gonna kill Blastoise but he
had a Magikarp on his bench w/ 3 energy. I knew he had Gyarados. I oak, and
get a gust, Electabuzz, 2 Pluspower, Zapdos, 2 Raichu, and another Pikachu. I
gust out Magikarp and kill it with a T-Bolt. He then uses a friggin super
potion on Blastoise and Rain Dances more onto himself and kills Pikachu. He
didnt have anyone left besides Blastoise. I attatch energy to Electabuzz and
sacrifice another Pikachu. He was intact. I came out. Attatch 2 Pluspower.
Thunderpunch and...heads! I win!

Round 2 vs Weird Grass
This deck was weird. It had all Zubats, Ekans, and Bellsprouts. It was also
illegal. He starts and puts 3 Zubats and 3 Ekans down. Hmmm, thats weird. All
thsoe in his first hand. I use Pikachu and recharge like hell. Evolve to base
Raichu and clean house. I massacred everyone except a lon Weepinbell. At one
point in the game he had 5 Bellsprouts on his bench. I use pluspower and kill
the Weepinbell for the win.

Round 3 versus Stall
Crap. I almost decked myself this match. He starts Chansey alone, i start
Piakchu. I recharge about 3 times and he keeps flipping heads with Scrunch.
By the time he lips tails he ahs Alakazam, Mr.Mime, Channsey, and a Haunter
on his bench. Crap. I had a fully charged Zapdos by that time. I come out
with Zapdos and use Thunderstorm. Flipping tails only once to Alakazam. He
uses scrunch again and fails. I use Thunderstorm again adn do 2 to everyone.
Dead Mr.Mime. It went abck and forth but when I ahd one prize and card left,
I gusted out Alakazam, attatched 2 PP to base Raichu, and Thunder for the win.

Round 4 versus Haymaker
This one was easy. Too easy. I won on the third turn. He starts hitmonlee but
gets no energy. I start Pikachu. I attatch energy and do recharge. he
attatched enregy to Lee. I couldnt find any energy so recharged again. He
attatches another energy.I thunderbolt+pluspower for the win.

Semis versus Haymaker
Dammit i hate fighitng decks. All he had was fighting. He used Aerodactyl,
Hitmonlee, Machop, and Hitmonchan. He starts with Chan and Fossil to bench.
He jabs for 40 to Pikahcu. I put Zapdos to bench. He then evolves to
Aerodactyl and kills Pikachu. I come out with Zapdos. he has Hitmonlee on the
bench. I attatch energy. He uses Special Punch a couple of turns. I couldnt
seem to find an Electabuzz. He then comes out with Hitmonlee. I had 40 HP
left. He attatches two PP and High Jump Kicks for the win. Dammit!

Oh well, it didnt really amtter. the prize was 3 booster packs. Big whoop.
