Hi. I went to a tournament today (Jan 7/99)at Tramps, Regina, Sask.
There was 14 people there. I thought of this deck by myself.
My deck consisted of:

3 Magmars( fossil)
2 Hitmonchans
1 Hitmonlee
2 Scythers
1 Lickitung
1 Kangaskan
1 Chansey

10 Fire energies
10 Fighting energies
4 Double Colorless

3 Plus Powers
1 Computer search
1 lass
1 itemfinder
2 energy retrievel
2 switches
2 Gusts of wind
2 prof oaks
3 scoop ups
4 energy removals
3 super energy removals
1 pokedex

There were only four rounds. They were best out of 3.( The tournament
didnt allow Japanese cards in the tournament.

First round: Me vs Thomas ,Colorless( dragonite) Fire( Charizard) and
Psychic(Hypno)

Game 1: I started with a Scyther and Magmar on the bench. He had a
dratini only.
He started first and pounds me. I lay a fire on Magmar and retreat my
Scyther. i smokescreened him 3 times and I added a Plus power on the
third turn for the win.

Game 2: I got to go first this time. i started with Magmar with a
Chansey on the bench and he had a Dratini out again with no guys on the
bench.
I smokescreen him. He then pounds me for 10. My turn, i use energy
removal and then i smokescreen him again. He then puts out a drowzee and
attachs a psychic energy on him. My turn, i kill him after attaching a
fire on magmar. He puts out his Drowzee, evolves him into Hypno and uses
Prophecy, arranging my top 3 cards. I then pick up a energy removal and
use it and i used smog, but no poison. His turn, he puts another psychic
energy on Hypno. I energy removalled him again and poison after with
smog. He couldnt do nothing after and then i killed him with one more
smog.

Round 2: Me vs Brent( my friend's brother.) Grass( Venusaur,Nidoking,
Venomth) and Colorless.(Lickitung etc)

Game 1: I started out with Lickitung. He started with Bulbasaur.I went
first.I put a energy on Lickitung and paralyze him. He attachs a grass
on Bulba. I then tongue wrap with no paralyze. He does Leech seed to me.
I  paralyze him. He coudnt do nothing so then its my turn. i picked up a
Hitmonchan, knowing a could kill him the next turn with him. i tongue
wrap Bulbasaur. Then i realized that he had 20 damge on him already. i
am just mad at myself. He then picked up a bulbasaur and puts it on the
bench. i layed down my hitmonchan.He eventually kills my lickitung and
hitmonchan  due to no basics.

Game 2:  I just beat on him with my Hitmonchan, killing his guys. he
loses with no basics.

Game 3: I win again,using Magmar and hitmonchan with plus powers. he
died again due to no basics.

Round 3: Me vs Ryan,haymaker,grass(Scythers),fire(Magmars)and
electric(electabuzz).

Game 1:He kills me cause in a few turns due to no basics.

Game 2:He was close to running out of cards,he had a electabuzz with 40
damage. i retreated and brought in a hitmonchan and jabbed him for the
win.

Game 3: In a few minutes, he beat,using plus powers.

Round 4: Me vs Liam, fire( arcanine, flareon.) and colorless( fearow and
pigeot family, tauros.

game 1. I started with scyther and he started with spearow. Later,i kill
him with Scyther.i won

game 2: I won by killing his guys with Magmars and chansey.

3-1.

I was tied with someone else. We had to play to see who would be in
first. It was one game with only one prize.

game 1: Me vs Alex, fighting( hitmonchans and rhyhorn.)
electric(Electabuzz), Fire( fossil magmars) and  maybe colorless guys.

Game 1: I mostly energy removalled him a bit, so he didnt do big damge
on me that much. He mostly had out an Electabuzz with Rhyhorn and a
Magmar on the bench.
I hurted his Electabuzz a bit with magmar and lickitung. he retreated
Electabuzz and brought out Magmar and smokscreen me. after a few turns,
i gust of winded his electabuzz and used a power with my Magmar and
killed him. i won.

So i got second and got 10$ in store credit.I bought two Base set
boosters and got anElectrode and  an Alakazam. i then traded an Alakazam
for a holographic articuno with the store. ( cause i had two alakazams)
They were selling holographic Articuno
for 15 and Alakazams for 30 dollars. So i get 15 dollars of trading for
Alakazam.
