I recently competed in a tournament at a local videogame store called Megaplay videogames in Houston

I recently competed in a tournament at a local videogame store called
Megaplay videogames in Houston. I used a previously made deck of mine with a
couple of different cards. I won the tourny thanks to the fact I pulled an
energy at the last minute! I use Promo Mewtwo, Wigglytuff, and other
Psychics. Anyway here is the deck followed by the report.

Now for the tourny report. I recently tried this deck before but lost due to
the fact I didnt have Mewtwo.This time Wigglytuff came up in the clutch
moments to win the tourny. It wasn't swiss style, so one wins it all.

Round 1 versus Raj

This kid was a Pokeholic who had a binder full of game boy, link cable,
cards, books, etc. He had a fire deck which was easy to beat due to the fact
I had Mr.Mime. I started with a Jigglypuff, Abra and Gastly. He started with
Charmander, Magmar and a Vulpix. I went first with Jigglypuff and sung to
Magmar. He fell asleep and didn't wake up for 5 turns! Aparently he had no
switches and kept flipping tails. I then got a Mewtwo and Mr.Mime, I sent out
Mewtwo and Energy Absorbtion. The next turn I kept dealing 40 damage and
busted an Alakazam with Breeder. I went onto to win 6 prizes to none.

Round 2 versus Sara

She had a....RAIN DANCE! I hate rain dance but I destroyed her with Mr.Mime.
She started with a Magikarp, Articuno and Lapras as a starter. I sent out
Gastly as my only active. I licked and paralyzed. She kept energy removaling
and killed Gastly right when I got a Mewtwo. I Energy Absorbtioned to get two
Energies, then dealed two Psyburns to Lapras to kill it. She got no
Blastoise, apparently she had 3 and one was in the bottom of the deck, the
other two were prizes. I destroyed her so fast it was sad.

Round 3 versus Steven

A Haymaker. Well, he was undefeated as I was and pretty confident he would
win. He sent out Magmar, Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee. I only got a Mr.Mime and
Gastly. I stalled with Gastly against Hitmonchan until he sent out Magmar.
Then I panicked and sent out Haunter on my bench. He took no damage from
Magmar due to transparency and I managed to get Wigglytuff out with Abra,
Alakazam, Gengar, Haunter, and Mr.Mime on the bench. I Oaked only to find I
had two Mewtwo's that I couldnt put down. I Did the Wave on Hitmonlee, then
to Magmar+Curse. He died and I had two more prizes to go. Hitmonchan KOed
Wiggly with Special Punch but I sent out Mewtwo to kill the remains of a
beaten up Haymaker.

Round four versus Miguel

He had a good grass deck which I met in the semi-finals again. He started
with Scyther, Pinsir, and Bulbasaur while I got Mr.Mime and Gastly. I kept
Licking Scyther and when he was all charged up I sent out Mr.Mime to stall.
He breeded for Venusaur on the third turn and by the fourth had everyone
fully charged (Energy Trans) I was in trouble. He sent out Pinsir and
Irongripped Mr.Mime followed by Paralyzation. I had one energy in my hand
when I drew Oak. I Attatched to gastly then drew the most beautiful hand
ever. Mewtwo, Breeder, Switch, Bill, Gengar, Abra, and Haunter. I then Billed
to get an Alakazam followed by another Mewtwo! I put down Abra, Mewtwo,
Mewtwo, and evolved Gastly to Haunter. I switched to Haunter for Nightmare.
He stayed asleep while I charged up Gengar and evolved to Alakazam. It was
all uphill from there. Mewtwos were just destroying his Pokemon. I killed two
Pinsirs and a Scyther before my dreaded fear came out. Venomoth. A chill ran
down my back as he sent out the fully pumped bug to face Mr.Mime. He Venom
Powdered after Shift and confused/poisoned Mr.Mime. He then killed Mr.Mime on
the next turn. I hate Venomoth! He killed Mewtwo after he Poisoned/Confused
him too. It was an all out war until we each had on prize left. I had two
energies on Mewtwo with Gengar and Wigglytuff at his side. He had Venusaur,
Pinsir and Scyther. (I killed Venomoth!!!) There was one damage counter on
Pinsir and one on Scyther. Scyther was out and I had a GOW. I smiled and
GOWed Pinsir, curse and game.

Semi-Finals versus Miguel!

This came went a lot easier for me. I actually won on the fourth turn! He
started with Venonat, I started with Gastly. I licked and paralyzed. He had a
handful of energy. I licked again while attatching energy to Mr.Mime. He drew
another energy and knew he had lost. I drew A Mewtwo (like it mattered) and
attatched energy to Mr.Mime, retreated, meditate, game.

Finals versus Thommy

He had a Rain Dance deck which I defeated easily. I had Mr.Mime out and he
had 2 Blastoises by the 4th turn. He could not do anything to me until
Gyarados paralyzed Mr.Mime and killed him. Then another Mr.Mime came out and
murdered the rest of the deck. Mewtwo also killed some of it with it's
constant Psyburns and the fact that SER didnt help. I won 5 fossil boosters
which I pulled a Hypno holo, Zapdos holo, Gengar non holo, Muk non holo, and
Articuno holo! Thanks Pojo!
