Hey Pojo,this is Will with a new deck that may seem to cost alot of money,but actually works.The tourney was at collectable treasures last week on saturday,about 14 kids there but no tough competition,here is my deck Starting power;

yea i know,this deck may cost alot but it works,now onto the tourney!

 

 round 1;

 

me vs.  tommy.

 

One of my old freinds from school,he was using a colorless/psychic deck.

Sort of an easy match i started with 2 water energy, 2 grass ,2 squirtle,and a blastoise.all he had was spearow and abra.I won the toss and drew a water energy,put one on squirtle and bubbled with para.he put an DCE on his spearow  then said go.This is when i opened the game up ,i drew a poke breeder,used it on squirtle,put a water energy on him,then poke powered so that blastoise had 3 on him,i hydroed for 40.Then for some reason he used a scoop up on his spearow and sent out an abra with no energy on it.next turn i drew a water,put it on blastoise an ko'ed abra for the win.

me vs 8 year old boy.

this was fast,he was useing a starter deck and i made quick work of his two charmanders with squirtle for the win.

Round 4(semi finals)

me vs brady

 

Now i knew i had to win this match,since this kid is very snotty and always tells me i will lose to him.He was using an ok deck made up a psychic and fire.I won the coin toss and i started with bulbasaur,and had 2 squirtle on my  bench,with a poke breeder and and the grass energy.I slapped a grass energy on him and it was his turn.He had 2 abra's and a ponyta with one of the abra's to start,he used psyshock and missed the para.next turn i draw a wartortle and put it on one of my benched squirtle's and put another grass on my bulba for leach seed.he was getting mad cause i found out later he kept drawing energys! I eventually ko'ed his abra with ivysaur after i well placed vine  whip.next he sent out ponyta with 3 fire energy on it,uh oh!Get this.He draws a rapidash and ko'd him!.Well,i got a measure of revenge when i send out wartortale and drew a drum roll please...BLASTOISE! put him on,but on 3 energy on him,and his agility from the last tunr was still on ,so i had to wait.

He draws a fire energy i guess and goes for agility again,put misses the coin flip.and on my next turn ko him for a trip to the finals!!!'

round 5

me vs jamie

Oh crap.Not only is Jamie my best friend,but he was also the only person there that had the talent of deck building,i got luck though,turns out he had 5 nidoran males,so he gets DQ'd and i win the tourney!

 

I won 30$ worth of cards (credit) from the store.and another blastoise.

I used my credit to buy some japaneese gym leader cards and a first edition mewtwo and Mime.
