Hey i'm a new guy here at the Pojo, and I will be around for a while
reporting on the best new strategy's for TCG.

4 Magicarp (Rocket)
3 Gyrados
1 Dark Gyrados
2 Psyduck (fossil)
2 Psyduck (rocket)
4 Golduck (fossil)
2 Kangaskhan
1 Chansey
1 Articuno
"TRAINERS": 11
4 Energy Removals
4 Super Energy Removals
1 Pokemon Trader
2 Switch
"ENERGY": 23
23 Water
The main strategy behind this deck is just to keep the opponents energy low,
and trust me it'll be very low. Just build up your Golducks and Vaporeons
and use the energy removals to get them low enough so when you do hyper beam
they can never rebuild, and the can only build the bench. This strategy is
the best except against a clefable (he can do metranome with one energy) and
rain dance. See if some has a rain dance deck with allot of water energy you
have to use your Chanseys and Kangaskhans to buy time to get a energy
removal. And if all else fails you have to use gyrados and articuno to fight
blastiose. It's really annoying playing a rain dance, but it works.
TOURNAMENT:
I got first place. I won each promo they had and a ten dollar gift
certificate to media play.
1st ROUND & 2nd ROUND:
I can't remember totally what happened all I remember was i fought little
kids that didn't know how to play
3rd ROUND:
This was my best game ever, I was playing a clefable psychic deck. HE had
Alakasams and Gengars galore but what makes the deck great is clefables
metranome. He swopped his energy back and forth. And when I finally though i
had him (his bench was fully of damage counters)he draws a pokemon center
and clears it all. I'm glad we played best out of three. The two games I won
i just stuck to my strategy, took out all his energy and when he had nothin
left i would kill with gyrados or Articuno.
FINAL ROUND:
My final round was against a rain dance deck. the first game he crushed me.
But the second game got intresting, I kept removing he kept dancing till
finally my Dark Gyrados flipped a heads after dying to his blastoise and out
come the final beam to kill it. And because of the removals he had no energy
to rain dance anymore and i had another gyrados which killed everyone. And
finally we play the last game, he has one card "squirtle" I have two
eevees.
If you didn't know the promo eevees do 20 damage and squirtle has 40 hp. So
his only chance was too paralyze i get the coin toss 20 hp done, half way
there. Then he flips heads im paralyzed, he flips heads like 3 times in a
row kills eevee the other one comes up 40 damage hes dead i win. It was a
fluke i know but i still win haha. Anyways remember I'll be back.
