Yet again Ben Sinnett with another report held at Toy'S R us on the 6th of June NSW Aus.

This was non DCI so I played a new deck.Rebellion has won 3 straight tournaments but I only reported on 1.This is aimed at Status effects simply.It is called Venomania

Now first let me explain about this.Ekans,Oddish,Gloom,Koffing and Arbok all provide status effects.

The gusts are a must with dark arbok in the deck and the lass is for nailing those Raindance or Whatever like usual.Rocket Sneak attack is another possible option.Another must is the full heal NRG.They keep all the pokemon from Gloom's status effects while Snorlax is already protected.

Game one me vs Scyther Ditto and Clefable deck.

Clefable appeared second turn but I energy removed him.Oddish eventually defeated Clefable with Poisonpowder working while Clefable was suffering from sleeppowder.

Ditto appeared but fell to Oddish after poisonpowder and continuous sleep powders once again.

I won by a 0 Basics rule

Game 2 Me vs Poor man hay with plenty of Scoop up's.

15 Turns into the game 1 had destroyed 2 Machop and a rocket Charmander with Koffing,Snorlax and Arbok, he was down three prizes so I locked him Down with Gloom on the bench with 2 Snorlax,Koffing and Arbok while having another Snorlax active.I just kept using Gloom's power along with Scoop up and Lass to avoid him taking any prizes.Once the 20 minute time limit had been called I came out with a 4 prize lead after destroying a farfetched.

Game 3 Me vs Darren with Magmar hay.

We went 2 out of 3.

Game 1,He got Magmar out on the board quickly and won over oddish.

Game 2,

I got Scyther him a Hitmonchan.

I draw grass play on SCyther sword dance.He plays a rainbow 10 to himself.I play DCE and kill him.

Game 3,

The play was frantic from start to end.Many Scoop up's ER's Bills and so on were played.

I broke through with Arbok for the 1st prize of the match at the 9 minute mark after playing my 2nd grass on Arbok then gusting out his 60 damage Magmar to the bench and killing his fully powered one.

He then suffered an NRG drought giving me the opportunity to tkae 3 prizes to 1.Koffing locked down 2 Scyther before fainting to Hitmonchan who died to Oddish.

With a 4-1 prize advantage a Jigglypuff hit the board with a DCE and came active.He pound my Oddish for a prize.A good thing was he had Jigglypuff and a Hitmonchan on the bench so Wigglytuff's Do the wave would only do 20.I promoted Snorlax .Body slam and Glooms power pulled through defeating both Hitmonchan and Jigglypuff in a matter of turns.

Overall this deck is great and I will probably do a succession of reports with it.
