Hey, Pojo! Wus sup? Your friendly neighborhood Eric Malone here with a
Killer Deck report! Oh yea, I have been itching to test my new Haymaker at
the league and finnaly got my chance! Here, My friends, Is the baddaboom
haymaker. Here it is!
Baddaboom Haymaker!
Key Componants: Fighting, Electric, Psychic, and a few Colorless
3 Mewtwo (Movie Promo's) (I took these from my old deck and popped them in
here. pretty nifty.)
2 Aerodactyl (I love to use these guys when the deck requires alot of
evolving to bring out the big guns!)
2 Mew's (League Promo) (If all else fails, and they have a big guy like
Blastoise in play, ZING! Devoloution Beam! Boo yah!)
3 Electabuzz (Who doesent like this guy?)
2 Hitmonchan (Gotta love this guy)
2 Chansey (Hey, I need more basics! What? Scrunch? Chansey? Good, Ill search
for more basics!)

My deck is not the cream of the crop, but we all start somewhere. I expect
bigger improvements in the future. As soon as I get my hands on a few
Scyther, and maybe a nice Dark Hypno... Anyways, The Pokemon League at the
comic shop is pretty fair. There are some good kids there, and my friend,
Mike, is known as 'Price Guide Boy', Because he is always carrying around a
price guide, and looks in his book to see if the trade is good. It annoys
alot of people, but he gets quite a few good trades out of it. The comic
shop is a garage that went out of buisness. The owner took it over, and made
it a comic shop. He then held tournys and such what stuff. Sooooo, here is
the report.

Well, Sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of Eric... Ok, I know.
Corny. It seemed like no one was going to show up, then out of no where,
they came like a pack of wild Antelope. My first battle...
Eric Vs. Jeremy (Rain Dance)
Typical Rain Dance. I started with a few energy, electabuzz, and a
Hitmonchan. I put down Electabuzz while he puts out Squirtle. I called
heads. Coin flip: Heads. I put down an Electric Energy and Thunder Wave for
20, and Para. He goes, puts down an energy on Squirtle. My turn, I put down
a Fighting Energy, then Thunder Punch for the KO.

Well, the Owner scans the crowd, then announces the prize. 1st place gets 3
boosters, and 15 dollars store credit. 2nd gets 1 booster and 5 dollars
store credit. 3rd gets 1 booster. That was that.

Eric Vs. Tom (Fire)
This guy is obsessed with Star Wars or something. The whole time, he kept
saying things from epsiode 1 and other movies. Arg, Very annoying. I get a
Hitmonchan and Mysterious fossil, along with 2 fighting and 3 Psychic. I
call: Heads coin flip: Tails
As this kid flipped over a rocket charmander, he said 'Charmander,
(Breathing Noises) I am your father!' He started to freak me out. He puts
down a fire, ignoring Char's power. My Turn, Energy Down on Hitmonchan, Draw
Aerodactyl. Jab, 20. His turn, He puts down an energy and uses the attack.
20 on me. My turn, energy down. Jab 20. His turn, puts down a Mankey (A
mankey?) does 20 to Hit. My turn, energy down on Hitmonchan, Special Punch
for the KO. He brings out Mankey, then looks at the top card in his deck.
Scratch's me. Special Punch for the WIN!

Tom left just as a fight started. These two kids get into an argument over
the cards they were using. So, they settled it with a Sudden Death match,
thank goodnes...

Eric Vs. Ben (Neo Deck)
This kid is obsessed with Nyrurra. I think thats how you spell it... This
was the longest card game in the history of man, ill tell you. He kept using
Bag Attack, or something like that. I wound up decking him. Afterwards I
looked at his deck. All Neos. Including Togepi, Togechikku, and even a few
Slowking (Where did he get those?) I think thats what they are. Now im all
confused, darn... O.o* I won, because I kept a bunch of chanseys out, and
scrunched alot. I decked him. (No, I didnt punch him. Although it seemed
like a good idea at the time, heh heh)

Eric Vs. Daniel
This is Ben's little brother. He's awesome at the card game. Today, he was
using his Antihaymaker (Just my luck..) He had his deck loaded with
Kadabra's and Abra's, even a few chansey. It was a second rate
Anti-Haymaker, but he did kick my butt. I couldnt get any basics out, and he
finished up my 2 Hitmonchan in no time flat.... He just got lucky..... ^_^

The owner looked at the list and called out the Finalists. Ben (Dear
lord...) Me, one of the kids that got into an arguement, and Jeff got
picked. Luckily, I was picked to go up against Jeff. Easy win, ^_^

Eric Vs. Jeff (Haymaker)
Jeff is the Haymaker Kid, or so he's called at the Pokeleague. His Haymaker
is top-notch, unfortunately, he puts too little basics in it. I wound up
drawing 6 cards before he found a basic. The basic was an Electabuzz.
Hitmonchan for me, of course. (I get him every game almost). I call Tails
coin flip: Tails.
I put down an energy and jab, for 40. He puts down an energy and tunder
waves for 10, no para. I put down an energy and jab for the win. Just how I
like my games, short and sweet. I gave him a few left over basics I never
use, that he might use in his deck.

Ben Lost, which brought me great happyness. While we may be friends, we are
rivals at the same time. so, the owner announced the final match-up. Me Vs.
Brent

Finals- Eric Vs. Brent (Speed Wiggly)
He had a couple of Ditto in his Speed Wiggly... arg! I hate Ditto! I HATE
EM! (Starts a down with Ditto campaign) heh heh. anyways, Brent's Speed
Wiggly was Hitmonchan Bait, though, seeing as Wigglys and Jigglys have
fighting weakness. ARG! but I hate SLEEP! (Like Muttley) Fradden, smradden,
versnim....
Anyways, heres how it went. I called: Heads Coin Flip: Heads
I got my Hitmonchan out there, while he started with a Jigglypuff.
(Figures..) I slap down an energy and Jab, for 40. He draws, but doesent put
an energy down. I figured he didnt have any in his hand. My turn, I put down
an Energy and Jab for 40, KO. I draw a Psychic Energy as my prize. He sends
out ditto, Transforms. and puts down an energy and Jabs. My turn, I draw a
fighting energy, and put down an Electabuzz. I put the energy on Hitmonchan
and Special Punch for 40. His turn. He puts down another Jigglypuff, then
Jabs for 20. I draw a psychic and put down Mew. I put the psychic on Mew,
then Special Punch with Hitmonchan, KO. I draw a Movie Mewtwo as my prize.
He sends out Jiggly, places down an energy and Lullabyes. I flip a heads,
making him awake. Then Special Punch for the KO and the win, No more basics!
The Aftermath
------------------------------------
I got 15 dollars store credit, and I chose to get 1 Team Rocket, 1 Neo, and
1 Gym 2. The foils... Team Rocket, Dark Charizard. Neo, Lugia (Lucky me...).
Gym 2, Blaines Arcanine! I kept the 15 dollars for a rainy day. Ben won 3rd,
and the kid I played last won 2nd.

After those games, a few Ideas of what else to put in there came to mind.
Maybe, I should get a Nyurra? hmmm, there are possibliltys. Maybe I should
put in a few Jiggly? Maybe take out a few cards to make room for more
