Hey Pojo what's up. I'm a first time writer to your website so please
accept it. I attend a tournament every week and I've used this deck once
and it is great. Hope everyone can learn something from this deck.
This tournament was held on Sunday June 4th 2000 and about 19 people
showed up. The entry fee was $4.00 and the first three winners got base2
theme decks. The prize may be pretty crappy but me and my friends use the
cards in the theme decks to make some of our decks better. Enough with the
talk lets get down to business.

Shocking Flames against wannabe raindance
This was a quick match. I drew and got great cards,voltorb,electrode,
alot of energy. I won the flip and I turned over voltorb against a base set
squirtle. Speedball I win.
MATCH #2
Shocking Flames against grass deck
I started with a growlithe,voltorb,electrode,pluspower,bill,energy,he goes
first. Grass boy starts with oddish and some other pokemon. I start
with
growlithe as my active and voltorb on my bench. He goes first, 10 no
paralysis, I go attach energy to voltorb play bill and pass. He attaches
energy to benched oddish hits with active oddish for 10 paralyzed. I
attach energy to voltorb and evolve into electrode pass. He gust of wind
and puts in my electrode, not very smart 10 damage no paralysis. I go,
attach energy
to electrode evolve growlithe to arcanine and Electric shock KO. After I
got my Electrode out I KO'd 4 of his Pokemon and my bench was arcanine with
2 fire energy and 2 damage counters. He puts out tauros I retreat
electrode and put in arcanine flames of rage I win.

Shocking Flames against My friends classic Haymaker
I've played against this deck alot and I hate the trainers ER,SER,GOW
they screw up my game plan, but this time I was ready. I got scyther, and
alot of trainers and energy. It was perfect he got stuck with hitmonchan,
and I had scyther I go first attach a fire and pass. He goes uses ER, and
attaches energy to hitmonchan. My turn I draw a double colerless energy and
a energy removal with bill. I attach energy and use ER on hitmonchan pass.
He goes attaches energy and passes. My turn attach a DCE and a pluspower
for 40, draws no basic and passes cause he can't hit me. And I slash for
the win.

Shocking Flames against another wannabe raindance
Quick match, he starts with two magikarp and I got two voltorbs and
growlithe and some energy. I go first, draw my card, energy, attach energy
to voltorb speedball magikarp is dead. He goes can't draw another basic
flop for 10 I go speedball dead and I win.
Today I had to many matches so I'm skipping about 6 matches to talk about
the last match against the Gym leader. His name is Dan and Hes got a killer
evolution deck based on getting everything by using Dark Dragonair to get
all the evolutions and then when he has most of the evolutions he finishes
it off by evolving into Dark Dragonite and Summoning all of his minions.
MATCH # 11
Shocking Flames against killer evolution deck
He started with TR charmander TR dratini and some trainers, but no energy.
My turn I have growlithe active and voltorb on by bench, I have arcanine in
by hand and trainers and energy, I attach energy to growlithe and pass. He
goes one fire energy on charmander flame tail for 20. I go attach energy on
growlithe and use ER on charmander, then I use flare for 20. He goes draws
a dragonair evolves dratini and uses pokemon power searches deck for
another dragonair. For the next couple of rounds the gym leader
doesn't
get any energy so I'm going to skip to the good part of the match. At this
point he was able to hold me off long enough to get out two TR Charizards A
TR Dragonite and another Dragonair searching for pokemon. I had out two
arcanines a electrode and an electabuzz. His Charizard was able to kill a
arcanine and my electrode but not before they knocked out Charizard and the
dragonair. He ran out of energy because of my energy removals and super ER
so I ended up killing his dragonite and Charizard with my arcanine and
electabuzz. I won because I drew my last prize

Well for a deck that I built from scratch It did pretty good I hope you
