Hello Pojo Dudes, I have posted a report already but I am still trying to
get the Idea of how to write an excellent report so bare with me. Last time I
submitted a report I wrote about a Classic Haymaker which rocks the local
leagues. All of you out there that say haymakers are sorry say that because
you are a bunch of cheap babies. This time however, I am not describing a
haymaker but a stage 1 deck. This is my deck------     The Poison Gas Wars   
 ------
  Pokemon:
3x fossil gastly
2x fossil haunter
3x jungle venonat
2x jungle venomoth
2x rocket ekans
1x rocket arbok
2x jungle exeggcute
1x jungle exeggcutor
1x rocket porygon
1x promo movie mewtwo
1x fossil ditto
Total = 19 Poke.

Trainers:
4x potion(keep those low hp pokes kickin)
1x super potion(save the inevitably lost)
2x poketrader(get who you need when you need it)
2x energy removal(really ticks your opponent off)
1x energy retrieval(counter er's or ser's)
1x switch(free retreat or heal)
1x full heal(stop statis effects eliminated)
1x goop gas attack(in case someone is smart enough to use haunter or dumb
enough to use charizard)
1x recycler(retrieve any valuable card)
1x bill(duh)
Total =15 trainers

Energy Cards:
13x grass energy(majority of this deck is grass;)
11x psychic energy(may seem like a lot for haunters but exeggcutor also uses
1 or more)
2x dce(mostly for ditto and exeggcutor)
Total =26 energies
 19+15+26= 60 Ta Da!



Some people may be confused by the name of my deck but you must realize
gastly and haunter are actually gas pokemon and not ghost. Thats why I call
this deck The Poison Gas Wars instead of the Poison Ghost Wars. Anyway you
are probably bored so on with the report.



 I played at a league in Moreno Valley, CA. It was this morning 6/9/00 at a
local Toys'R'Us on Day Street.
 Rnd 1 me vs little kid who has no clothing without pokemon on it.
 I start out with gastly, arbok, 2x psy energy, bill, goop gas, poketrader.
He starts with growlithe taped all over due to a large split down the middle.
I win the toss and automaticly trade arbok for haunter, attach psy and lick
with no paralysis. He attaches fire energy and tries to evolve and I explain
about evolving first turn. I draw a dce and attach another psy energy to
gastly, evolve and nightmare with my power on. He flips and fails to wake up
and attaches another energy which was a grass???? energy and evolves. I knew
there this kid hadn't a clew how to play and I put the puppy to sleep for
good. He never benched another pokemon and I killed him. I then found he had
4 basics in his hand including snorlax(aghhhhhh!!!!!).

round 2 me vs larry w/haymaker
I got a terrible hand and got 4x grass energies, venonat, ekans, and bill. He
starts with hitmonchan active and twice benched(3 hitmons alltogether)
against venonat. He wins the toss but has no energy so passes. I draw a psy
energy and use bill for a VENOMOTH, and a psy energy. i attach grass to nat
and spore with paralysis. He draws and attaches fighting energy to benched
hitmonchan and passes. I draw gastly and attach grass to nat and evolve. I
use shift to psychic and powder with heads!!! He draws and attaches dce to
chan on bench and passes. I ko his chan and he pulls out buzz from nowhere!
He ko's moth finally but not before I get haunter ready and give him
nightmares for a year. I amazingly got 5 heads in a row (never happened to me
before) and ho his buzz. He brings loaded chan and thats obviously the game.
He never got anyone else and I took care of the chans.

 round 3 me vs apparently 50 yr. old lady.
I thought she was pretty nice but she had a deck based on charizard so I
basicly knew the outcome of this battle. Whats worse is I started with
gastly, haunter 1x psy energy, 2x potions and 2x dce. She started with a
rocket charmander(hahaha
). I won the toss and licked with no paralysis. She attached fire and dealt
20 to me but that wasn't a problem. I drew another psy, attached it, evolved,
waited for her to stop crying and finally potioned and nightmared. She
actually got charizard out with 4 fighting energies(yes I mean fighting
energies) and took out haunter. Too bad for her I brought out arbok and guess
what happened. That's correct for a million dollars. I won the staring
contest;)

 Unfortunately that was my last battle because I had to work on my back yard.
