We’ll it’s been about 2 months since my last report. But I’m back again. Bryan Le here signing back on! I’ve been thinking and creating on how I can make the best deck...and although I will never succeed. I will try my best until I do. And Thus SpeedSponge v.01 was created...

Speed Sponge v.01

==Pokemon==

4x Promo Mewtwo (Get back energy, Sorta like a Sponge...Gee, Wonder why...)

4x Scyther (He is also one of the heavy hitters, Counters Chans, But retreats for MewTwos)

4x Electabuzz (1 Energy Para with 10, T-punch for 40 with heads...Pretty darn good basic)

==Trainers==

4x Pluspower (Speed Kills, This card helps with the one turn K.O.)

3x SER (Very Frustrating if I can’t knock it out on turn one, this can help out for turn 2)

3x Bill (Very Little for a speed deck, but it works...there’s things called itemfinders...)

3x Oak (Main card in this deck. Look Above)

3x Searches (Get that Pluspower for the 1^st turn win perhaps...)

3x Itemfinders (Get the Pluspowers, or the Draw Cards back...)

3x GOW (1^st turn kill... makes up for the lack of ER)

2x Scoop Up (Get back a damaged Poke)

2x Nightly Garbage Run (more "Sponge" Fun, absorb back cards and put em in your deck)

Ok, Time for for the deck Intro:

Long ago there was a legend, a legend of Victory and Triumph. A legend that told of a young boy on a quest to behold the strongest deck anyone has ever heard of. But on that quest it would hold challenges that have been unseen, Challenges that are supposed to scare that young boy away. But the boy was brave. The Boy was strong. Alone, He conquered all challengers with a deck. A legendary deck named SpeedSponge...this deck was his only protection. A protection needed to guard his pride. And this deck is told to be in possession of the strongest card warrior there is. This warrior was named Bryan Le. And as we talk at this very moment, Bryan is still on his quest to become the greatest card master there ever was.

Deck Strategies:

To get the first turn win, or kill any poke as soon as possible. Although all of my pokes except for electabuzz have second turn attacks, my deck will master the second turn game. Items and searches are mainly for oaks and pluspowers. This deck went undefeated today and and I

hope to keep that record.

Round 1:

SpeedSponge Vs. Issac with Old Hay

*Ding Ding*

I start off with a god hand Consisting of Promo Mewtwo, 3 Physic Energy, 1 computer search, Elctabuzz, and a Gust. That hand helped me win the game. He had a Chan out and no bench. By turn to, after Oaking, and absorbing back the energy, I was able to knock the Chan out before he had a chance. I end up winning the game.

Round 2:

SpeedSponge Vs. ??? with a Persian Mewtwo counter deck

*Ding Ding*

I metagamed this deck and found out he was playing an anti-mewtwo deck. Uh-oh. But nothing to worry about. This game he got out persian by turn 2 and had him powered up. I kept mewtwo in my hand only in case of extreme cases like if I had no basics. I used mewtwo for searches and item finders, bringing in scyther and electabuzz for the kill. With the prizes 5-5 my turn, we were both very low on draw cards from our deck. I think I had 5 and he had 7. His Kangaskhan was low on health and had 6 damage counters on him. I had scyther active, but no energy on him. I attached my energy and passed. He energy removal it and passes. I attach my last card in my had to elctabuzz, retreat scyther, and brought in electabuzz and I T-punched him for the win! Very good game! Later he told me he got the idea of his deck from pojo’s magazine which I also read to...

Round 3:

SpeedSponge Vs. Martin with Raindance

*Ding Ding*

This was going to be easy. I kept scyther in my hand becuase scyther to too long to power up and wasn’t worth the 30. I used him for searches etc. I had electabuzz first turn and I got to go first. I benched 2 Mewtwos, and one more electabuzz And i searched for a oak. I oaked and got a darn good hand. I attached my energy, spit out 2 pluspowers, and killed a squirtle first turn. He brought in another one, and bubbled with para. No problem, I searched for a Full Heal Energy and I T-punched for the win! Whoa, this deck is even fast than a raindance...

Round 4: Semi-Finals

SpeedSponge Vs. ??? With TuffStuff

*Ding Ding*

Yes! My dream came true, I wanted to play a Tuff deck today and I got my chance. I used to also play a tuff Deck and knew how it worked and what he would do. I had Scyther out. He challenged me and I denied Rewarding him the 2 cards. He kept challenging me with I denying him. He got out Tuff by turn 4 and started to wave. BIG MISTAKE. He forgot to lass, or RSA me. I ended up SERing him. And slashing my way to victory. With the prizes 4-5 my turn, I slash a Tuff with 2 pluspowers making it 50 and he had 30 from the previous slash.

Round 5: Finals

SpeedSponge Vs. ??? with Sponge

*Ding Ding*

Yes, Yes, the clash of the Titans, we both had similar decks and had the exact same playstyle, and the exact same record. Everyone was watching us but the crowd favored the other dude. He was confident he’d win. I made a BIG mistake, I dropped one of my cards, and it was a physic energy. I knew he had adjusted his strategy immediately.

I start off with a crap hand but I manage to survive. He starts with ditto, with kanga, buzz, and none other than mewtwo. I start with a scyther. I end up scraficing pokes so I can set up for position. With the prizes 3-5 his lead, I end up having promo mewtwo active, and I item finder for a GOW, GOW a Ditto for the kill. He brings in none other than Kanga, and misses half of his flips for his comet punch. I item again for a GOW and I GOW out a mewtwo, and kill that. He brings in kanga, his last basic, and only flips one heads. Thank god. I retreat and bring in electabuzz, and T-SHOCK him with para. He has 4 damage on him. I T-SHOCK again. With Para again. He had 5 on him. I risk it and go for a T-PUNCH and I, I, I, flip tales. He goes, and Comet Punches me. I think he’s got it won with me with 40 on me, when a miracle happens! J he only flips one heads and he is going nuts over this. I Shock him again for the win!
