Hello Pojo, It's been awhile since I last put up a good solid deck, Now this
tournament took place at Combination Sports Cards in Mississauga, Ontario,
about 30 people were there, (biggest turn out I've seen in awhile. There were
3 groups of 10 players; the date this tourney was played was June 18/ 2000.

Here's my favorite deck to use for tournaments

4x Bill (good way to get cards)
4x Energy Removal (free energy be gone)
4x Gust of Wind (up against Blastoise with squirtle on bench, nuff said)
2x Nightly Garbage Run (no decking yourself, and good energy retrieval)
1x Challenge! (No basics, hopefully your opponent will accepts)
1x Mysterious Fossil (A must for Aerodactyl and good staller)

Now I was fine tuning this deck before the tourney, I took out Kabutops and
2nd Lickitung, added in the challenge and NGR, now for 3 groups of 4 which
means I had about 5 to 6 battles ahead of me, the winner of tourney gets 1
theme deck and 2 TR 1st edition packs, 2nd, 2 TR first edition packs and 3rd
gets 1st edition TR pack only one though. So here go the results.

Me vs. Kid named Spencer (Buzz/Gyarados deck)
I usually don't hate people but this kid is so annoying, He all ways claims I
set up my deck after I beat him down in 10 turns, he claims how do you get a
hitmonchan out first every time, (Duh, 4 of them). Well anyway, here comes the
match. Me have a good hand, Hitmonchan, Scyther, DCE, 2x FE and 2 Bills. I lay
Hitmonchan as active and Scyther as bench. He starts off with exactly what I
thought he would, Electabuzz. I go first, I lay energy on Hitmonchan and use
bills, I get 2 FE, and 2 energy removal (Booyah), so I jab for 40. He goes,
lays electric on buzz and poke balls, heads, he brings carp to bench, like I
planned. So he goes for thunder shock, no paralysis. My turn challenge comes
into hand. I challenge him, he knows I'm going to get out Buzz and Scyther so
he declines the challenge, I pick up 2 cards, greatest 2 cards ever, Mystery
Fossil and Aero, great, put down Mystery Fossil and KO Buzz, Pick up my prize,
which being Bill, He sends Carp up and tackles for 10, spooky, since I laid
down DCE on Scyther last turn I decided to supremely screw him up. Bang, Aero
down, Game over.
1-0-0 That's right, you go Chan!
Next Match
Me vs. Kid named Cody (Nidoqueen, Kingler deck)
This kid is too easy to beat, this match lasted 2 rounds, we draw our cards, I
get the best card again, Electabuzz and Hitmonchan to tear him up, and He gets
Nidoran Male. Guess who won?

Next Match
Me vs. Jonathon (Flareon deck)
This was my quickest battle ever. We drew, I got Hitmonchan and some stuff,
and he got Eevee from TR. I go first, Game over. 2 more.
3-0-0

Next Match
Me vs. Josh (4 Blastoise, 4 Gyarados, 4 Articuno, 2 Lapras deck)
Another quick match, Squirtle vs. Hitmonchan, So far an easy tourney and 1
match before finals.
4-0-0

Final Group Match
Me vs. Craig (Pinsir/ Dewgong deck)
If I get another quick match here I was going to be really, really angry.
Luckily it wasn't. It was Chan vs. Seal. Dugong came out and took care of
Hitmonchan, but up came Buzz, Thunder Punch for win. I missed a lot but that
was what it came down to.
5-0-0 I'm going to the finals.

Since I was undefeated I got a bye to the final match. So I chilled out at the
store while Kyle and Ryan fought it out, Haymaker vs. Mono Fire deck. I bought
some Rocket packs, the storeowner picked them out, and he said to my friend if
they were not all holographic cards I'd give you this Dark Charizard
non-holographic. So I open the packs, I get Holographic Dark Blastoise (2nd
one), Holographic Dark Dragonite (3rd one), Holographic Dark Machamp and
Holographic Rainbow Energy. Nice stash, my buddy traded in his Holographic
Dark Dugtrio and Rocket Sneak Attack 1st ed and 2 non-holographic Dark
Weezings in for that Holographic Dark Charizard 1st ed. Now onto the finals.

Final Match of the Day
Me vs. Kyle (Mono-Fire)
I got the greatest hand I think I have ever gotten at this tourney before.
Hitmonchan, Challenge, 2 Bills, 2 FE and a Mystery Fossil. I start Hitmonchan
he starts Charmander, I know he has Charizard in his hand. So I bill get out
Scyther and Aero. Yes, I lay down Scyther, and Challenge him. He declines
(that's like the 5th time, doesn't anyone like full benches?) So I pick up my
2 cards and they are ER and Bill (weird) So I Bill, I get a DCE (Thank God)
and a FE. I lay FE on Chan and Jab for20. He places energy on and scratches
for 10. So I evolve Aero and he begins to swear. For in his hand are 2 Fire,
2DCE, Charmeleon and Charizard. (Cough.cough. Bull $h!t. cough. cough). Need
being I killed his only Charmander off with Scyther. Game over, I win again.
I got my Theme Deck, the one with holographic Arbok. (That's 5 holographics
today so far) Then in my 2 packs are, Dark Raichu (amazing) and Dark Gyarados
non-holographic. So I think I did pretty well today, Scored a load of cards
and I got my holographic mew and my computer error, plus my cascade badge, and
TM 3! Yes!

Now I may be biting off of someone's idea put here are my categories Smoking
and Joking
Smoking for Storeowner picking me out 4 Holographic.
Smoking for me winning the tourney
Smoking for Chan for doing his job.
Joking for Spencer when he cried after I beat him.
