Hey Pojo, I am reporting just another major archetype, Raindance.  I
guess you guys can planly see what the basic strategy for a Raindance
deck is!  use Blastoise's raindance  to put water energy on your water
pokemon.  Books a million, we had our weekly tourney.  As usual cocky
kids were bragging to the little kids on how "good" there decks, better
trainers challenged them and won.  After the gym leader organized
everything the tournament got underway.  I'll tell about the battles
below my deck:

Water Wave:

4x Squirtle- First turn attack and chance of paralysis makes up for its
low HP
3x Wartortle- Withdraw will protect Wartortle, until you can power his
bite, plus he has a good HP
2x Blastoise- Note: this a raindance deck, do the math
1x Dark Blastoise- Although is 70 Hp is meager compared to base
blastoise, but hydro cannon is than Hydro pump and Rocket Tackle is good
too.
1x Lapras- Lapra's water gun is a raindance attack, 80 HP, and low
retreat cost
1x Articuno- No weakness, and Blizzard can (like alot of fossil pokemon)
attack the bench.
3x Rocket Magikarp- Rapid Evolution is Great because he is ready for
Dark Gyarados's Ice Beam.
2x Dark Gyarados- Final beam is great to take for one final assault, and
ice beam has a chance of paralysis
2x Eevee- Tail Wag can maybe save Eevee from annuilation and quick
attack is sort of good and bad
2x Dark Vaporeon- Whirlpool can stall an opponent and bite is after
whirl pooling your opponent to death
4x Potion- For a small revive
2x Sleep- It works sort of good, but it is just as good as a base gastly

2x Nightly Garbage- Get back those stage 1 and 2 poekmon.
1x Here Come the Rocket- Blastiose may be a prize and if you can get a
pokemon to faint, not your own, you can get it
1x Gust of wind- Get those weaker pokemon out here
2x Switch- most of these poekmon have high retreat cost
27x Water Energy

Now for the battles.  The way they do this stupid!  You win twice and
you win in your brakcet and get two rocket boosters. Oh well, here are
the battles.

Battle 1: Water Wave VS. Mono Grass

This deck's strategy uses Venusaur's Energy Trans during late game then
transfer the placed grass energies on Exegutor to use his Big
Eggsplosion.
I drew Magikarp, Potion, Switch, Eevee, 3x energy.  He drew Ivysaur,
Exeggecute, and the rest energy.  He places Exeggecute and i Eevee.  I
won the flip and drew an energy.  I placed an energy on Eevee and Tail
wag with unsucess.  He drew Pro. Oak.  He played an energy on Exeggecute
and passed.  I drew a Vaporeon.  I put an enrgy on Eevee and Quick
attacked for 30!  He drew an Tangela.  he played a grass energy on
Exeggecute and Leech Seeded.  I drew a Gust of wind.  Put an energy on
Vaporeon (I evolved).  From there I Whirpooled and bit him to death and
same with tangela.

1-0

Battle 2- Water Water VS. Haymaker

I drew a Squirtle, a wartortle, potion, and 4 energy.  He drew a Machop,
Hitmonchan, Bill, and rest energy.  I played squirtle and him
Hitmonchan.  I won the flip.  I drew an energy, put it on Squirtle and
bubbled with paralysis.  He drew an Electabuzz.  He put an energy on
Hitmonchan and passed.  I drew a switch, Evolved to wartortle, placed
energy on Wartortle and failed withdraw.  He drew a Electric energy.  He
put it on Electabuzz and Jabbed.  I drew a Dark Gyarados.  I attached an
energy and put it on Wartortle.  Fortunatly, I beat Hitmonchan and
Machop, but lost to Electabuzz, even though I a rocket Magikarp.
