Hey pojo, just got back from Toys 'R' Us in NY June 24 and kicked a whole lot
of butt with my new venompower deck. Here it is:

Pokemon (19)
4 Weedle (basically to evolve, but 10 and chance of poison for one energy is
great on the first turn).
3 Beedrill (So powerful, it's twineedle attack is okay but poison sting is
great. 40 damage for 3 grass energy plus 50% of poison. No retreat and
fighting resistance makes him hard to knock out).
4 Venonat (okay pokemon, but really in there to evolve. 10 and chance of
paralysis for one enrgy is good. And leech life ain't half bad.)
4 Venomoth (POWERFUL. Two energy for 10 and a 50% chance of poison and
confusion. He is very hard to knock out since he has free retreat and is
fighting resistant. This guy is great)
2 Scyther (Great Pokemon. If you can get two more replace the chanseys with 2
more scythers. 70 Hp, no retreat, fighting resistant and two solid attacks
make him a key essential part of this deck.)
2 Chanseys (120 Hp is great. Stall with him but 2 more scyther would be more
useful.)
Trainers (19)
3 Computer Search (great in any deck, getting any card can give you the
advantage in the game. Should usually get Oak)
3 Professor Oak (got a crappy hand? Trash it for a new one. Great card.)
3 Pokemon Breeder (needed to evolve beedrill)
3 Gust of Wind (helps in so many ways)
4 Energy Removal (the energy removals and the super energy removals are in
there for one reason: to destroy fire because all of my grass pokemon are
weak to fire. And as we all know, fire usually discards energy when attacking
so pretty soon they run energy dry. Useful in other situations too.)
3 Super Energy Removals (See above)
Energy (22)
19 Grass energy (duh!)
3 DCE (scyther, chansey, beedrill)

The strategy of this deck is to poison and confuse your opponents pokemon.
Use beedrill and venomoth to do this. When they are poisoned and/or confused
let them basically kill themselves trying to attack or taking poison damage.
Chansey can stall for you until you have sucessfully loaded your pokemon.
Scyther, Venomoth, and Beedrill all retreat for free and have fighting
resistance giving you the advantage in battle.

Game 1 vs. Bob w/trans
I am playing a little 6 year old. I started out with venonat and a weedle
benched. He has one basic. I go first after winning the coin flip. It's a
clefairy doll! LOL!!!!!!! I loaded venonat and stun spore for the win.

Game 2 vs. Steve w/haymaker
I started out with a scyther and a benched venonat.  He has a lone
hitmonchan. He  went first. Drew a buzz and played it. he attached an
electric to buzz and passed. I go I load my venonat with a grass energy. i
pass. He loads buzz and switches and flips a tails on punch. I go i load an
energy to venonat evolve into moth retreat and shift into fighting pokemon.
Do 20 damage to buzz and I flip a heads. He takes 10 more for poison in
between turns. He goes. He draws loads chan and attempts an attack. He flips
a tails doing 20 to himself plus the 10 for poison give me a knock out. I
draw a dce. I load scyther with a dce and attacked with venom powder. flipped
tails. He draws and passes (because of resistance his attack would do
nothing). I go I draw a card attach a grass to scyther play weedle and attack
with venom powder...heads. He takes 10 poison between turns. He draws and
plays hitmonlee. He loads lee and passes. 10 poison inbetween turns. I attack
with powder for 10 he takes 10 poison. He goes, loads lee and passes, KO.
Brings up lee. I go. Retreat, slash twice in two turns for the game.

Game 3: Me vs. Matt w/fire
i get a venonat he gets a rocket charmander, I go first and load an energy
under venonat and do 10 plus paralyze. he goes loads mander and passes i pick
up a MOTH. play my energy under venonat and evolve into moth and attack with
venom powder...tails. He flame tails for fourty. I go, I pick and attack with
venom powder...this flip determines the game if heads i knock him out do to
poison if tails he will knock me out next turn. I flip...HEADS!!!!!!

Game 4: Rematch vs. matt
I start w/chansey and weedle and venonat benched. he has charmander and
vulpix. I go first. i draw load chansey and pass. he goes and does 20 damage.
i go i load chansey scrunch...heads. he goes loads vulpix and passes. I go
and play dce under chansey and double edge for ko. I draw a pize which is a
breeder. He brings up vulpix and loads an energy for confuse ray...tails. i
go double edge game.
W-4 L-0
Game 5: matt is a sore loser so i face him...again
Can't remember much but ser and er killed him all throughout the game and
moth confused and poisoned two charizards and beedrill put the finishing
touches on fossil magmar (no energy).
W-5 L-0
Game 6 vs. Tim w/swap
I gust in his kazam and i keep on confusing that sob...no more power no more
deck strategy...which means MOTH saves me another game.
W-6 L-0

Overall my deck did very well. Later  Pojo.
