I went to Books-a-Million on 6/24/00. This deck one against everyone I
battled.(Note: This leauge did not allow Japanese cards.) Without
further ado here is "The Telekinetic Blast Deck."
Pokemon:
3 Mewtwo (Movie Promo)
1 Mewtwo (Nintendo Power Promo) (The one that knows Telekineses.)
4 Abra (Rocket)
4 Dark Kadabra (Rocket)
4 Dark Alakazam (Rocket)
4 Mr. Mime (Jungle)
4 Slowpoke (Rocket)
2 Dark Slowbro (Rocket)
1 Slowbro (Fossil)
Trainers:
1 Computer Search (Base)
1 Pokemon Breeder (Base)
1 Rockets Sneak Attack (Rocket)
1 Imposter Oak's Revenge (Rocket)
Energy:
26 Psychic
3 Potion Energy (Rocket)
The strategy is to hopefully start with Mewtwo and build up Dark
Alakazam, Dark Slowbro, Slowbro on the bench. Also using Comp. Search to
find what I'm looking for and Breeder to speed up Dark Alakazam. Now on
to the report.

Round 1: Mike v.s Christian w/psy/leaf deck (Mike being me.)
I got lucky this round and drew a hand of the following: Comp. Search, 3
psy. energy,a team R. Abra a MP Mewtwo and an Imposter Oak's Revenge. I
called heads... I went first!
I sent out the Mewtwo and Abra on the bench. I had drawn a Dark Kadabra.
I Comp. Searched (discarding 2 psy. energies) for a Dark Alakazam. He
had as his active a Scyther. I attached an energy to Mewtwo and did
energy absorbtion getting him pumped for the next turn. Christian
attacked a psy. energy to Scyther (he had no bench) and used a S.E.R on
my Mewtwo. He passed. I drew a Mr. Mime and kept him in my hand (until
Christian got some heavy hitters on the bench!) Then I used energy
absorption. He drew and passed. I drew another psy. energy evolved Abra
to Dark Kadabra (unfortunatley I forgot last turn.) Anyway I attached an
energy and used Matter Exchange discarding the Imp. Oak's revenge
getting... a rocket's sneak attack!! I used it and he had a Proffesor
Oak just waiting to be used. I discarded it and psyburned. He drew and
forfieted.

Round 2: Mike v.s Joan w/a weird rain dance
This was my quickest match. All I drew was a TR Abra and 6 Psy. energy.
SHe placed Squirtle(R) as her active with no bench. She went first. She
drew and passed. I drew an RSA (Rocket's Sneak Attack,) used it and
found she had no trainers a waist of the card. Anyway I attached an
energy to Abra and Psyshocked with paralyis. She drew and passed. I drew
a Dark Alakazam, attached an energy to Abra and used Psyshock no
paralyis this time. She drew, used a breeder and got Dark Blastoise with
50HP left she then passed. I drew a... FINNALY Dark Kadabra!!! I
attached a third energy to Abra.Evolved. Attacked. Her Dark BLastoise
had 20HP. She drew and passed. I drew a Mr.Mime put him on the bench,
attached an energy to Mime, evolved Dark Kadabra, attacked and won!

Round 3: Mike v.s Mark w/an electric deck. I drew my hand: a Mr. Mime, a
Dark Alakazam, and 5 energies. We started our match. I went first and
attached an energy to Mime and passed. He was getting ready to draw when
his mother said they had to go. He forfieted and I won again.
Final Record: W-L-T
