This tournament was held at Name of the Game in San Diego
California. About eight people showed up.
First place won twenty one dollars, second won ten
dollars, third place won five dollars. Anyways heres my deck.
The point of this deck is to either stall with Scyther or lay
the Smack-down with Electabuzz. Ditto is used for additional backup or
stalling. Scoop-up is there for stalling, and Pluspower for power.

We all put in five dollars, and played two-out-of-three style.
Heres the report.
Round one: verses Joey
He was playing his own creation, with likitung, Dark Arbok, and
some Drowzees.
Game 1: This was quick. I got electabuzz and he got dark ekans.
I won the flip and thundershocked for paralysis. He went, then passed it back
to me. I drew, and got a pluspower, put an energy down, and Thunderpunched for
the win.
Game 2: I was'nt so lucky this time. I got Ditto and 6 energy.
He ended up winning because...one Ditto just doesnt cut it.
Game 3: I put out a scyther and he started with a
lickitung. I was thinking "where are my electabuzzes", but on turn
four, I slashed for victory.(his last basic)
Score: 1-0
Round 2: verses Jason
Jason was playing a wildfire variant with muk, so my
Dittos were out of the picture for now.
Game one:I got go-go-gadget electabuzz and he started out a
moltres. After a couple of rounds i knocked it out, forcing him to put out a
chansey. I thunderpunched it three times, and won.
Game 2: This was VERY close. i was pretty much up on my seat on
this game. he was wildfiring all electabuzzes, and his muk took out my
ditto.But--Scyther is always there...I knocked his Muk
and pumped a ditto. I had one prize, and 0 cards in my deck.
the whole game depended on a coinflip. Very lucky for me, I got heads and
divebombed his moltres taking my last prize.
Score:2-0
Round 3: simifinals verses Sumi
Sumi was playing a sponge related deck, with his own
"secret" weapon---Mew
Game 1:He played promo mewtwo and i got ditto. One basic for
both of us... interesting...
I went first and placed a lightning on ditto, then passed. he
placed a psychic on mewtwo then oaked. He energy absorbed the energy he threw
away, then passed. I drew....a double colorless!!! i slapped it on and
psyburned for the win.
Game 2: This one, was also short. on turn 1 i oaked a couple of
times to get 4 pluspowers, and thundershocked once on his mew, giving me the
win.
Score: 3-0
Round four: Finals verses Sean (also known as S. Anderson)
I have to say this--No matter how hard i try, or anyone tries,
it always ends up being me vs Sean for the finals. Whatever... He was playing
his "thunderslash" deck that usually does pretty well. Here's the
finals.
Game 1: I got the slash-o-matic scyther, and so did he. He
won the coinflip ad oaked twice on turn one!
I purposely tried to stall by scooping up everybody but scyther,
and, surprisingly, it worked.
Game 2: He put out a clefairy and i put out ditto. You could
probably see where this was going---like a one armed man in a wheel chair
race, or a limbless man in a swimming pool, going nowhere but down...until he
failed to professor oak, giving me the upper hand. I Placed down an electabuzz,
and thundershocked, the rest of the game. He attempted to save his deck by
lassing a couple of times, but it put more cards in my deck than it did his,
and i won! YES!!
I had a lot of fun at this tournament, but there was only one
thing missing--- my older cousin not being there to intimidate everyone. Oh
well... there's always next time...Derek...
I won 21 bucks (my lucky number) and bought a team rocket pack.
I always have good luck when opening packs, so i bought some. I'm trying to
save up to buy a guitar, so i did'nt spend too much...
Here's props and slops:
Props to Chris for holding the best tournaments
Props to The Rock for being the coolest man alive
Props to ditto for taking out that moltres in round two.
Props to me for winning
Slops to Derek for not being there...
Once again, my deck is called Copy-Cat central. If you like my
