Hi,this Richard McCreedy,from Cincy,OH,and I am e-mailing about a killer
deck report.I played at Comic Central,in a 4 match best out of 3 tourny.My
deck is called "Monsoon water deck",it consists of 21 water energies,2
staryu's,1 starmie,3 eevee,1 base set vaporeon,1 rocket vaporeon,2 seels,1
dewgong,2 squirtles,1 wartortle,1 blastoise,2 magikarp,1 gyardos,2
tentcool,2 poliwags,1 poliwhirl,1 poliwrath,3 bills,1 imposter oak,1
imposter oak's revenge,1 computer search,1 recycle,3 energy removals,2
pokeball,1 sleep,an 1 energy retrieval,2 itemfinders.1st match against
Brent:he used a simpel all colorless pokemon deck.He sent out a
lickitung,and benched two snoralaxes.I came out with a poliwag,and put down
1 squirtle and 1 tentacool.I won the flip.I drew a poliwhirl,attacked with
water gun.On the 4th turn poliwag was poliwhirl and was ready to
doubleslap.I knocked out his lickitung at went ahead.But he drew a kanga and
sent him and fetched away,but i eventually knocked him out.i drew a
warotortle from my prizes,and had a blastoise in my hand i evolved and rain
danced.He brought out a snoralax,but it was knocked out easy by poliwhirl.He
finally knocked out my poliwhirl with a second snoralax.I brought out
blastoise and destroyed the snora.He didnt have any benched pokemon,so i won
the first match.Second match against brent:He had a lonesome pidgey,and i
had a full bench that had an evee on it.I sent out evee and tailwaged.I drew
a vaporeon and evolved evee,and attacked with quick attack,eventually i
knocked his squirtle,no bench,i win.2 Oponent,Greg:he ahd the worst deck ive
ever seen,i called it "terrible".He only had growlithes in his deck,and
against my water pokemon he was meat.I brought out Magikarp which became
gyardos,and i destroyed his grolithes.2nd match against Greg:Same story he
ahd all growlithes and i got out a dewgong and knock all his pokemon out,i
win.3rd Opponent Mandy:This was the toughest contender yet.She had an all
fighting deck,which had 4 hitmonchans,and 4 hitmonlees,she came out with
hitmonchan and jabbed my tentacool,but i wasnt worried about him i was
building up seel who was to become dewgong,she knocked out my tentacool,but
i brought out dewgong,who aroura beamed chan,she jabbed,and i aurora beamed
her again,i draw a prise,but then she brought out hitmonlee and it knocked
me out,i ahd no bench she wins.2 match against Mandy:This time she had a
hitmonlee out first,and me,a pitiful seel,she made quick meat of me she
wins,i lose and am out of the tourney.Mandy gos on and wins the
tournament,her prize,3 Rocket packs,3 gym2 packs,and 1 fossil 1st edition
pack,she pulled a 1st ed holo dragonite out of it,and Blaines Arcanine out
of 1 of the gym2 packs.I had a good learning experience,and the lesson I
learned.........the Hitmo brothers rule
