Hey pojo I am back and i modified
my deck and it did very well at the
pokemon legue this Saturday. The pokemon legue was held at toys-r-us in
Deptford Nj on Saturday May 6th. I played 3 games only because I had to leave
for baseball game by the way our team won the tournament and got a huge
trophy, well back to pokemon. Here is my new lightning deck:
Surprise Thunder
1x Dark Raichu(in my opinion he is a much better bench hitter than fossil
Raichu and he only takes three energies to do 30 and a chance to do 20 to all
of your opponents benched pokemon, the only thing I dont like about him is
his hp. My strategie for this guy is if there are any benched pokemon that
has 30 hp such as Abra Rattata or any others that have 20 damage on them
gust them out and kill)
3x Basic Raichu(this guy is great he has 80 hp and that is good for a stage 1
pokemon his first atttack is just like fossil magmars smokescreen which is
highly over rated now onto Raichus second attack THUNDER this attack is one
of the greatest lightning attacks and i am getting to the best next he does
60 and that is outstang because on most lightning pokemon such as
Zapdos
and movie pikachu you have to dicard all of that pokemons energy!)
4x Base Pikachu( this guy i dont really have much to say about because he
stinks really bad and the only reason i have him in my deck is for Raichu)
4x jungle Jolteon(this gut is outstanding! his hp is pretty good for a stage
one pokemon and for 70 hp his retreat cost is only one WOW!his first attack
allows you to do up to thirty for one double colorless energy which is
really cool but now the moment you have all been waiting for the best
lightning attack there is PIN MISSIL ,this attack can do up to 200 damage if
you start adding up the plus powers and weaknesses and all that junk but his
attack is wonderful I always get 4 heads I am very lucky when it comes to
coin flipping.
4x Rocket Eevee(this card is really cool it is just like fossil magmar it
just has less hp
4x Base Zapdos(this card really kills if you dont use thunder bolt the only
time you should use thunderbolt is when the pokemon is the only pokemon and
it has 80 hp use thunder bolt instead of giving them a chance to get another
basic pokemon)
3x Fossil Dragonite(this guy is awesome you have a chance to 80 on your
second turn if you are lucky and you have 2 double colorless energies in your
hand, his retreat cost is about as good as you will get for a great pokemon
like him and his power is good if he is on the bench and your active is about
to die)
1x Dark Dragonite9 he is not as good as fossil but he is still good he has 70
hp which stinks and a good possibility of doing nothing when he attacks, but
the best part about this card is its pokemon power good if you have Raichus
or Jolteons with no Eevees or Pikachus)
1x Dark Dragonair(this card is great if you have all basics and none of the
matching evolutions and his hp is fairly good for a stage 1 pokemon and his
attack isnt that bad either can do 40)
3x Base Dragonair(his first attack is cool but I like his second attack
better because your opponent has to discard an energy card attached to his
active pokemon his hp is great for a stage 1 pokemon and his retreat is ok to
but this card is toast if it is about to be knocked out and you are facing a
Dark Muk)
4x Base Dratini(he is a lot better than the other one but he still stinks and
I only have him for Dragonair and Dragonite)
3x GOW(good get out the pokemon that has very low hp and kill it)
4x Plus Power(kill kill kill)
25x Lightning Energy
battle one:kid with a raindance deck/
She had only one base squirtle and I had a pikachu so i go
first I gnaw
and he does 10 but no paralyze and then I gnaw again for the win.
battle two: sean norris with his tuff stuff deck/
I only got a pikachu and he had a himonchan he goes firstand
jabs for the
win.
battle three:kid with a haymaker/
he only got a farfetch'd and i got base Pikachu
again and went first
and used gnaw+two plus powers for the win.
